Today, I will be reviewing the Ben Nye Rose Petal Luxury Powder. These finely milled powders especially, The Banana Powder, is a cult favourite among makeup enthusiasts. I have both the Banana Powder and the Rose Petal powder and both are equally good. The Banana Powder has a slight yellow tint whereas the Rose Petal powder has a slight pink tint. Both the powders look very different on the skin and each has its own unique abilities.

My Experience with Ben Nye Rose Petal Luxury Powder:
There is nothing much to say about the packaging as the powders come in boring plastic bottles with holes at the top and have a protective lid. I have taken them for trips and they were pretty non-messy as well as lightweight.
I have heard a lot about Ben Nye products from friends and makeup artists. They all believe so much in the transformational abilities of this product, I had to try and see it myself. These powders are used by makeup artists and professional stage performers since, they give a flawless appearance to the skin and reflect less light.
I have the Rose Petal variant which is a pale pink and it almost looks translucent when applied. I take a small dusting of the powder on my palms and apply it using a powder brush or sponge to set the make-up, I have applied. I have used this during hot summer days without any makeup and I am so impressed by the natural coverage it provides. There are several uses of this powder and if you have the imagination, you can try a lot.
I have used it for prepping my oily lids for eyeshadow This really helps to keep my shadows intact and in place for much longer hours. It’s a very finely milled powder and weightless so, when I blend it into my skin, it becomes invisible. There is no fragrance in the powder but, the ingredients are questionable.
I am loving the foundation free look these days and this powder just gives the extra edge finish. The Rose Petal shade adds a light glow to my skin. I am sure this shade will find love from a lot of people.
