Benefit Benebalm Hydrating Tinted Lip Balm Review
Product Purchased by IMBB
We all know the hype over the Benefit tints. So, to satisfy people who went crazy over them, Benefit has come out with their new lip hydrators aka lip balms in the shades corresponding to their specific tints. Today, I will review for you one of the four balms in their range “Benebalm.”
A hydrating, fruity, tinted lip balm that conditions and glides on sheer. This Benefit Cosmetics Hydrating Tinted Lip Balm sweeps on juicy flavor and nourishes lips with its conditioning formula. Great for wearing alone or layering with your favorite lipstick, this must-have, and buildable balm creates luscious, kissable lips in just one simple glide.
My Experience with Benefit Benebalm Hydrating Tinted Lip Balm:
I am a huge fan of the Benefit tints and my favorite one is Benetint. When Benefit released their balms recently, one of them being in the shade family as Benetint, I knew I had to have it. I just love collecting lip balms because my dry lips are always in need of them. The balms are available in the following shades which corresponds to their respective tints:
Chacha Balm – Mango/tangerine shade.
Lollibalm- Radiant Orchid shade.
How incredibly cute is the tube!! It it a bright shiny red for the Benebalm with big polka dot design all over. This packaging is only unique to the benebalm and all the other balms have their own distinct shade tube and design. Though it does attract fingerprints, I still am in love with the tube. The cap attaches securely and the tube always is eye catching when I use it in public.
The feel and application of the Benebalm on the lips is so smooth and silky and literally feels like butter. This is possibly the smoothest lip product I have ever tried, but at the same time, it is not sticky or too slippery feeling on the lips.
Though the color of the lip balm looks very red, it applies sheer. Though the intensity of the rosy tinge can be built up with multiple swipes, it never truly becomes opaque. This may be an issue for pigmented lips. I love the high shine it provides which makes the lips look almost glossy.
The shine on the lips stayed for an hour after which it loses its glossiness and all you can see is a tinge of the rosy shade. It does not survive through snacking and reapplication is necessary after every few hours if you want the freshly applied look to last. I do not find that this leaves behind any kind of tint on the lips after it fades which is disappointing, but I can always pair it with my Benetint underneath if I want to achieve that.
This balm truly leaves my lips feeling smooth and hydrated and feeling as if it got a huge dose of moisture. My lips have honestly started looking more and more even and I don’t find my regular lip products settling in cracks anymore as this balm seems to have repaired it all. The mango seed butter is doing an exceptional job.
It has a strong fruity scent which smells very tempting and tasty to me. It does linger for 10-15 minutes after which I cannot smell it anymore.
Overall, this is an expensive product at $18 price tag for just a simple tinted lip balm, but this is truly the most exceptional lip balm in the market. I love everything about this product and will not hesitate to purchase it again and will recommend to everyone.

Cons of Benefit Benebalm Hydrating Tinted Lip Balm:
- Very expensive for a lip balm.
