My Experience with Benefit GALifornia Powder Blush:
I adore a good coral blush in my kit. I picked up this blush called “Galifornia” from Benefit a few months back and I am totally addicted to using it. It come packed in this standard Benefit cardboard packaging with some art work. There is a little mirror on the inside and a flat blush brush. Benefit blush always have the cutest packaging but they are not the most travel-friendly ones. They are bulky and take a lot of space but can be spotted from miles away. There are two versions of the blush available. I picked up the mini version for practical reasons.
The blush is a stunning coral pink with very soft golden specks. The golden specks of micro glitter only add that little glow to the blush without making it too flat or powdery looking.
The color is great for everyday wear and just in general. It’s a beautiful shade for all skin tones, but especially great for those with warm skin tones. It looks like a natural flush of color. The blush is very pigmented so you have to be careful not to go overboard with it. This blush applies smoothly and blends easily.
The staying power is excellent. I have worn it for some 5-6 hours every time and never have seen it getting patchy. It loses its intensity as hours pass buy, but never really completely disappeared from my skin. It does not feel dry on skin either. It has a beauuutiful soft fragrance to it and that kind of lingers around when you apply it. Love it!
I am happy that I picked up the mini version of this blush. It has a lot of blush to last for a long time. It’s convenient and cute. The only difference between the mini and the full packaging is that the full packaging has a gorgeous gold sun design on the blush, but it’s pretty much the same product.
Overall, love it! Highly recommend it. People with warm/olive skin tones, this is definitely your blush. 🙂
