My Experience with Benefit Refined Facial Polish 

I have been using this scrub for a while. To start with, I have normal to dry skin. When it gets very dry I also develop dry patches. To keep things in perspective, I use face scrubs atleast twice a week. Most scrubs don’t work for my skin since I find them too harsh. So I look for the ones that are cream based and slightly gentle.

Benefit facial polish is an ivory coloured cream based face scrub. The granules are tiny and are very gentle on the skin. I am assuming even those with sensitive skin would be able to use it.

The texture is creamy and goes on smoothly on skin without being too harsh or rough. It cleans the pores and leaves skin soft and clean. The only gripe is that you have to use a lot of water to get rid of the tiny granules. It gets quite annoying when you are in a hurry.

It does not strip off moisture from my face. With regular use my black heads and white heads are in super control. I love how my pores and skin feels after using it. It sort of readies your skin for the follow-up skin care or makeup. 🙂

A little goes a long way and this is a big tube so it would easily last you 6-7 months or so.

It smells sooo nice.

The only annoying thing is the packaging. As pretty as the minty green tube and the wooden cap combination looks, it is not very effective. The tube is made up of hard plastic. So when I would reach almost half way through, I don’t know how would I manage to squeeze out the product.

Other than that it is a brilliant product. I love how it sort of takes care of my skin. Totally recommend it. 🙂
