I have oily scalp, and dry, rough hair. I have lots of split ends too, and my hair also gets frizzy. I got them rebonded last year in January, but almost all rebonded hair have now grown out, and chopped off with hair-cuts. I am now planning to buy a TBS shampoo and conditioner, for the no silicones, sulphates, parabens, colourants part, after reading all the lovely reviews here on IMBB, though I’m a bit too confused about which one I should buy. Please suggest which one would be the best shampoo and conditioner for my hair type.
Please help save my hair
Dear TBS conditioners are a pain to get out from the bottle. really! I have stopped buying the conditioner due to this!

I would suggest TBS, Herbal Essences, and St. Ives conditioners for dry hair 🙂
which one from TBS Jomol? shine range, or moisture range? thanks:) herbal essences gives me majot hair fall 🙁
herbal essences and dove give me major hair fall too… tbs balance is best for oily scalp.. try the moisture range conditioner for the dry hair…
I would recommend loreal absolute repair..it really worked well on my hair..and yes I have the same hair type..dry ends and oily scalp!! and for split ends, you need to get a hair cut 🙂
oh no! loreal gave me such major hair fall last year, i thought i’d go bald 🙁 got a trimming done last week, need to be more careful now…..thanks:)
TBS Rainforest Balance shampoo or Giovanni Shampoo for the oily scalp and Enliven conditioners for the dry hair. All these are free from sulphates, parabens and silicones. Also the conditioner is very light and does not weigh down the hair.

agree on the problem with tbs conditioners… but the shampoo is simply the best 🙂

I have the same problem as yours, and I have been using the Kerastase shampoo and conditioner in green, don’t remember the exact name of the range – Bain Oleo or something I think. It works wonderfully on my hair. In the TBS range the Rainforest moisture one works well for me.

hey ritu i have been using Burt bee’s Super Shiny Grapefruit & Sugar Beet Shampoo. its good for damaged hair as my hair always wud have split ends and is dry.you can use the same conditioner too. i can see a change in my hair texture plus i even apply aloe vera to my hair too. after bath apply serum too.since i stay in the middle east its difficult to get burt bee products. so i get it thru amazon. good luck

I use the TBS Rainforest Volume shampoo and conditioner. I have all the pains that ur hair has, plus really fine hair. This works fine for me..
But I agree that the conditioner bottle is the worst thing ever.
oh, I have fine hair too!! will check these out…and I’m seriously scared of the conditioner bottle now:(

I would suggest the Oil Balance shampoo from TBS.I have the same type of hair and always had to shampoo frequently since the oil comes dripping back in 2 days.I’m currently using TBS Nettle Oil Balance shampoo and it’s been a huge improvement.Now I need to shampoo only once in 4-5 days.However that particular shampoo has been discontinued and TBS has introduced Rainforest Oil Balance as a replacement.I don’t know if it’s as good as its predecessor.

even my hair had become really dry since some time… I used herbal essence hello hydration… It was quite effective … Also pantene pro-v nature fusion is a very mild shampoo …
And for dry hair adding a little glycerin in the shampoo i use has proved quite beneficial for me 🙂 hope this helps 🙂
hey any one has any luck with suave or enliven shampoos , i hear they are good. i used to use himalaya shampoo for oily hair. but now it is completely off the shelves. i have no clue why. it was my HG. i also like their shampoo for normal hair, but it makes me need a hair wash every 2 days.
i use lorea absolut repair conditioner and occassionally masque on my hair ends. and my hair ends are happy about this.

I’m loosing my hair….bfr 11 months i had my hair rebonded(INDIA)….nd i got massive hairfall….so with that i stopped using hair spa nd stopped conditioners too applying to my hair and till now am just using “lorial professionnel paris liss ultime oil incell shampoo”…..infact with that also am suffering with hairfall nd alot with dryness…..guess my hair got damaged with that rebonding….soo can anyone help me out, which one is the best shampoo and conditioner(should me MILD AND SLS FREE) should i use for dry, damaged nd for hairfall..???.my hair got very thin….Help me please…..
