3. Red Clay

Red clay has high copper content that helps to restore melanin in your skin and works effectively on the white patches. Take 1 tablespoon each of red clay and ginger juice each. Mix them well. Apply this paste to the affected areas. Allow it to dry completely, then wash it off and pat dry your skin. Repeat this process daily and don’t forget to moisturize your skin.

Tea tree oil has antifungal properties that inhibit the spread of the infection and prevent a recurrence of them. Take 4 or 5 drops of tea tree oil in 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil. Apply this mixture to the affected area using a cotton ball. Rinse it off with lukewarm water after 20 minutes. Repeat this process twice every day.

5. Honey

Honey is not only an excellent moisturizer but has also antioxidant properties that help deal with white skin spots. You can directly apply honey to your face like a mask and leave it on for half an hour. Wash it off and repeat this process daily.

6. Basil

Basil has excellent antifungal properties which kill the fungi that cause discolouration on the skin. You can eat the leaves raw first thing in the morning or you can also brew them along with the stem in water, and drink a glass of this concoction every day.

7. Black Pepper Essential Oil

Black pepper oil contains piperine which activates the inactive melanocytes (cells that produce melanin), thus restoring the natural skin color. Take 3-4 drops of black pepper essential oil with 1 tablespoon of any carrier oil. Apply this mixture daily on the spots to see the difference.
