Best Looks from Day 6 of Cannes 2017 + Sonam Kapoor’s Looks and Makeup Decoded

Cannes has been an amazing festival of movies and fashion for over 70 years now. On the sixth day of this festival this year, a lot of divas walked down the red carpet and left everyone mesmerized. Let’s check out their gorgeous looks.

Lana El Sahely

This gorgeous lady wore a dreamy white gown by Ralph and Russo. The blue silk organza over skirt with some beautiful ruffles made it a beautiful dress. Also, the Chinese blue silk thread work, crystal and glass beads added that perfect shine. She accessorised the dress with a gorgeous necklace by Chopard.

Kristina Bazan

She wore an Elie Saab black strapless dress which she confidently carried on the red carpet. She looked so elegant in this black dress and the net details on her dress definitely made it a nice one.

Nicole Kidman

Nicole wore a beautiful dress by Calvin Klein. She looked like a doll in this silk tulle skirt with a black top. This skirt was assembled with more than 70 hand cut layers of silk tulle in 15 different length and each one was cut four times. In total, the skirt required 180 yards of silk tulle and more than 150 hours of assembly. That’s why overall she looked like a gorgeous diva on the red carpet.

Anna Schafer

This pretty lady appeared in a lovely peach and red ombre gown by Christian Siriano. This beautiful dreamy multilayered dress definitely stole a lot of attention.

Jourdan Dunn

I personally love her style and the way she carries herself. She wore a beautiful sheer gown by Elie Saab on day 6. Those criss-cross straps on the neckline and that dreamy embroidery made it a perfect dress for the red carpet.

Izabel Goulart

This beautiful lady wore a very classy high neck and backless dress by Ralph and Russo. The crystal dotted work looked dazzling on her. She looked absolutely stunning in this white dress that also showed off her figure perfectly. Her simple smoky eyes and curly hair enhanced the overall look.

Eva Longoria

This classy lady wore an elegant sheer sequined-and-appliqued tulle gown from Marchesa. The beautiful pink crystal work on her dress added a glam touch to it and she perfectly carried her look with some jewelry by Lorraine Schwartz.

She wore a beautiful shiny mermaid dress by Halpern and the long train caught everyone’s attention.

Sonam Kapoor

Our Bollywood fashionista Sonam Kapoor made her appearance on the Cannes red carpet this year as well. She walked the red carpet as a L’Oreal brand ambassador and represented India like a true diva. Look 1

On her first day in Cannes, she was spotted in a beautiful light silk saree by Nor Black Nor White. The glow and shine on her saree made her look beautiful and she paired it with a pretty white blouse.

She rocked the beach with this saree and accessorised it with some fashion jewellery and an IWC Schaffhausen watch. Her makeup was done by Namrata Soni, who added some beachy luminous glow to Sonam’s skin and kept the overall look natural.

Look 2

On the red carpet, Sonam walked in a gorgeous rosy pink gown by Elie Saab The shiny rose gold work on her dress and its long train made her look like a pretty flower. This dress complemented her complexion and curves quite well. She also showed off some gorgeous Kalyan Jewelers pieces and stole the show. We must appreciate her sister Rhea Kapoor for this excellent styling. This unique jewellery added a nice ethnic yet modern touch to her gown.

Makeup Details:
Not just her dress, everyone noticed her gorgeous makeup, too. Namrata Soni gave her a dewy rose gold look and added a pink touch to her eyes. She created an amazing makeup look and Sonam pulled it off so well.

Look 3

After glowing on the red carpet, Sonam appeared in a totally different boho look in a custom-made Anamika Khanna outfit. She wore a pair of beautiful yellow palazzo pants with a bralette-style beachy blouse. She also layered her outfit with a red cape, which added a beautiful touch to her look. The floral embroidery on her dress and the red headscarf gave her look a dramatic beach vibe. Her long colourful junk statement earrings were by Apala and looked perfect with her dress.

Makeup Details:
For this look, Namrata Soni created a romantic bright pink makeup look. I feel she looked perfect and carried herself so beautifully, even during those photo shoots.

Look 4

After a boho look, Sonam was spotted in a gorgeous beachy dress by Abu Jani – Sandeep Khosla. She wore a plain white gown and layered it with a long floor length sky blue kaftan. This look made her look like the queen of the sea. She also styled minimal jewellery by Noor Fares, and overall looked elegant and fresh.

Makeup Details:
Again, a great job by Namrata. This look was also quite dewy and glowy. Eyes were kept natural and fresh. I think I would like to call it a ‘dreamy fresh makeup look’.

For her 5th look, Sonam picked an elegant mint coloured structured dress by Masaba Gupta. This one shoulder pastel outfit gave her a nice beachy vibe. We love how she styled this dress with a pair of statement earrings. But, don’t forget to notice her crown braid which looked perfect with this outfit.

Makeup Details:
Who knew a dark blue eyeliner and bright red lips would look so good together! This fresh and fun look is surely going to be a hit among makeup lovers.

After all these looks, she made her final appearance for the year on the red carpet. She wore a beautiful golden gown with a plunging neckline by Elie Saab. This sheer dress with golden embroidery work over it looked super dreamy on the red carpet. She accessorised the gown with some classy jewellery pieces by Chopard. Her golden glow made everyone’s head turn and that’s what she wanted!

Makeup Details:
Sonam again turned into a glamorous diva with this look. Namrata created a gold and black smokey eye look with light pink nude lips. Sonam looks just fabulous in this outfit and her makeup complemented the look so well. Overall, the look managed to steal a lot of spotlight.
