How have you all been? We are all on that eternal path to getting fitter and getting in shape and sometimes all we need is some inspiration. All I have to do for inspiration is look at Queen Bey’s killer dance moves in that awesomely fit and curvy body. A woman of curves, Beyoncé Knowles is as famous for her figure as her career in pop singing. She shows us that it is possible for us to stay curvy even without having all the extra bulges in unwanted places. So here are some of Beyoncé’s secrets.

⦁ She believes in healthy eating

Beyoncé swears by eating healthy. She eats either vegetarian food or lately, as sources say, she has turned vegan. This is essential when you’re aiming to get Beyonce’s curves because you are not trying to starve yourself, just trying to tone your body with the help of proper nutrition. Cut out junk and processed food or at least cut down their consumption to half of what you do now. She eats three tasty meals with two snacks in between.

⦁ A big no to crash diet

Beyonce has gone on several crash diets to lose weight including her famous lemon maple syrup diet where the star survived for two weeks on nothing but maple syrup mixed with water, cayenne pepper and lemon juice. However, it did nothing good for her body, and she regained all the weight back and it did harm to her skin as well. She asks you to binge at times and have a nutritious healthy diet on a regular basis.

With the kind of hectic career and schedule she has, it is essential for her to feed herself with power packed nutritious snacks. She believes in keeping them tasty as well by snacking on oatcakes with cottage cheese, fruits, yogurt covered almonds etc.

⦁ She understands the need of drinking water

She mentions in interviews that water is an integral part of her diet. Not only does water help her be fit and healthy, it also gives that extra benefit to her skin, as well as helps to fight off bloating. She ensures that she keeps hydrating herself in short intervals.

⦁ She works out at least five days a week

Even though she is not a huge fan of the gym, she makes it a point to work out at least five days a week. Her workout includes 100 walking lunges, 100 squats, 100 step ups every day. She does circuit training and runs 2.5 miles every day. Beyonce suggests working out to music that can make it more fun. She works out with 3 to 5 lb weights and uses cycling and dancing as fun ways to keep fit.

⦁ She always finds a source of motivation

Motivation is the key to success, in whichever field possible. Beyonce achieves her fitness goals by keeping a picture of the Oscar figurine on her wall of the gym. It inspires her to keep working out and not give up. Find your special source of motivation and keep reminding yourself about it. If it’s that special dress you want to fit in, hang it in front of you and then keep trying till you achieve it.

Beyonce’s advice to everyone is to be consistent to achieve your goals. She dances in high heels all day when she is getting ready for her music tours. Therefore we must take inspiration from her, make an exercise schedule and try and be as consistent as possible with it.
