BeYu Cosmetics Hits Indian Makeup stores

Beyu Cosmetics is a popular German brand, which has made its debut in Indian markets. Some time back Palak mentioned about their eyeshadow primer so since then I have been waiting for it to hit the stores. πŸ™‚

In Delhi, have been able to locate the brands in GK-1 M Block market. They have these small counters so I guess it should be available at most beauty outlets across the city. I think it would be easily available in Mumbai because the company that imports the brand is located in Mumbai.

So here’s a sneak peek at the BeYu. The concealer, eyeshadow primer and the brushes were not available but other than that they had the full range. The SA was helpful and was well trained. πŸ™‚ Enjoy!

  1. hi

dont u think dat the cost of products is a pretty higher…
lakme eyeliners are priced at Rs 250 and its a decent price as per the needs
    of a client..

    wats ur say…

  2. Piya, I do think that the price is on higher end but sweetheart, Lakme does not give you quality. Have you read this review? https://makeupandbeauty.com/2009/12/how-intense-is-lakme-nine-to-five-intense-shine-eyeliner/

I have personally stopped using Lakme for their low quality products and high end prices.

There are a very few times when lakme has impressed me. I use a lot of different brands so for me it is easier to compare the quality. But that’s okay. πŸ™‚ If you like he brand have no issue with it, you may well continue using it.

By the way if you want to see the swatches of the satin lipsticks, I have them with me. I may post them for you. πŸ™‚

  3. Hi Rati,

Wow..that was quite an informative post. Need to check if they have counters in Bangalore..If not, this goes to my Delhi shopping list as well..hahaha.

Anyways,Lakme is defo out of my good books now..grr its not even in the bad books πŸ™‚

  4. Wow thanks for the detailed info!
This, to me, looks like an over-priced copy of Maybelline. Not so impressed. Although the lip lights look kinda cute with the bulb πŸ™‚

  5. HD, Thanks. πŸ™‚

Poornima, You might give them a try. πŸ™‚ The quality is decent.

Cynthia, Correct. Didn’t impress me much to go ga ga over it. I get confused with products with such a price range. That is the reason i am not able to explore revlon much. They are neither high end nor drugstore and I always keep calculating that if I put in some more money I would get XYZ brand and in less money I would surely be able to find a dupe.

I found the light lipgloss and the sunglow powder pretty cute. πŸ˜›

  6. LOL whateva the discussion might be, it ends with Lakme πŸ™‚ nice post, rati! really appreciate ur efforts!

duo mascara luks like loreal rip off! dont u think so?

  7. What an extensively researched post! V. Nice Rati πŸ˜€

Yea, u r right, this brand has been available in Mumbai for like the past 1 year i think.. But I always go past it’s counter coz I have never read any reviews for this brand..

I swatched their sparkling lipglosses once and they were pretty shades but since Bourjois costs the same, I didn’t get them..

I wonder how their eyeshadow primer is? I have been looking for one since quite some time..

  8. Tanveer, thanks. πŸ™‚ Palak said that the beauty traveler suggested the Beyu eyeprimer and it is good. I am not going to buy it so can’t say. πŸ™

I bought two things. Would do a review of them soon. πŸ™‚

  9. rati these have been available near my place for quite some time now. they are also available at that accessories shop (i’m forgetting the name) at select city walk. i find the products quite sparkly/glittery and since i am fond of neither, i don’t really feel like purchasing anything. plus i’ve never heard of anyone talking about their products, neither have i seen any appropriate reviews. but i guess we have to take matters in our own hands! πŸ˜€ looking forward to the reviews.

excellent post nonetheless! double thumbs up. i wouldn’t be brave enough to whip out my camera in a store and click pictures. i am quite an egotist. πŸ˜€

  10. Rima, the staff and the owners were pretty courteous and that’s the only reason I could take pics. This is the first time I have done such a thing and I guess I am proud of it. πŸ˜› I saw these for the first time in M Black so kinds got excited. Yes we take matter at our hands and would give pass a verdict. lolzzz

Let’s see. At least I am excited. πŸ™‚

  11. heyy happy to hear this can you tell me where exactly in GK M block like next to what or something like that i was there today i didn’t see it..thanks alot for ur efforts waiting for ur next yt video also πŸ˜‰

  12. I am so touched !
You always remember me , dont you πŸ˜€

seems like a vast collection ( albeit on expensive side).. I have personally checked a few stuff and I was not Very impressed .. for that price..I will invest in colorbar glosses anyday !

wow ! the bronzer seems soo b’ful .. I wants.. review pls πŸ™‚
(em so demanding ,, ahh :P)

  13. Yasmina, there are two cosmetic shops in Wills Life Style-Puma-Levi’s-Yo China lane. One is a smaller one and the other is the bigger one. The bigger one has the BeYu range and the name of the shop is Common Wealth Stores. πŸ™‚

Will upload the next video soon. πŸ™‚

  14. and the colorbar hollywood gloss has the same concept I guess .. the inbuilt mirror .. ohh .. em falling for colorbar soo bad !!

COLORBAR , provide us blogger some free stuff .. we are doing such a good job at promoting you .. we deserve some love *puppy dog eyes*

  15. Of course I do. We like to pamper the youngest mambers of our blog . πŸ™‚ The collection is good but in some weird price range and I must admit that I am loving the rbonze. I would review it soon. πŸ™‚

I know so many people have bought colorbar on my reco and we all have said good words about the brand. They must sponser us. πŸ˜›

Just few days left for exam. I am sure your mom must be more tennsed than you. πŸ˜‰

  16. hehe yeah . but a hour of distressing aint that bad , inni ??
anyways I have to wake up whole night .. so interacting with yew ppl kinda wakes me up πŸ˜›

  17. tried the beyu mascara purchased from Rcity Mall Pantaloon outlet …expected good quality but it turned thick and powdery within few applications unlike promised…the area sales person Mr, Amit turned out quite nasty by not willing to help at all…Sad for having paid so highly for the so called international brand got poor quality and a bad response don’t know whom to approach ? and hold responsible
