This time I am going to review BeYu lip cream. I never tried lip cream so I was looking for one. I read good reviews for BeYu’s lip cream on IMBB. So I thought to search one for me. I took Velvet orchid colour as its light pink shade with a hint of violet. I liked it as cool summer colour.
Lip gloss with glitter particles and a touch of colour in a stylish tube!
The lips sparkle like crystals and become the centre of attraction of any party make-up. The soft shades give only a hint of color on the lips without stealing the show of the glitter particles. Thanks to the non-sticky texture, the gloss can be applied easily and evenly. The colors vary from a decent shimmer to an extreme glitter look! (From the website)
My experience with Beyu Lip Cream – Velvet Orchid:
The lip cream comes in a nice tube with metallic cap. The packaging is classy. The tube is of same shade of the lip cream. The applicator brush is soft and very helpful in application of the lip cream. The texture of the lip cream is smooth and velvety. It is thick light weighted liquid with nice pigmentation. When you apply, it will (kind of) melt and glide on the lips smoothly. It does not bleed and you need to be careful while filling the lips corner as it will settle up only where you apply. It is light pink shade so it doesn’t show good on the pigmented lips. Also, I prefer to apply it with Lip liner. It is a non sticky formula and it feels very light while applying. Once you apply, it will give a glossy lustrous look. The best part of this lip cream is its glossy voluptuous look. It will be awesome for beauties with thin lips as it gives a plump look to the lips. The radiance of the gloss is superb. It hydrates and keeps the lips moistened.
The colour Velvet Orchid is light pink shade with a very light tint of purple. It is a good colour for summers. It has no glitter. Since it is a very light shade of pink it may not suit some Indian skin tone. So I would say check the colour before you go for it. The staying power is average. It is here I feel disappointed. It stays for 2-3 hours only and if you take meals it will vanish. It is light shade hence don’t leave any pigmentation tint behind. It is transferable and gets transferred to the glass or metal surface of the utensils.
Finally I can say that it is good if you want glossy shiny and voluptuous lips for 2-3 hours. Or you can apply over the lipstick, it will boost the beauty. In one of my photo, I have used it over Revlon super lustrous Grape juice. It just goes awesome with this lipstick shade.
Pros of Beyu Lip Cream – Velvet Orchid:
Cons of Beyu Lip Cream – Velvet Orchid:
• Staying power is poor.
• Easily transferable.
• Ingredients not mentioned.
• Shade name not mentioned on the tube.
Will I repurchase/do I recommend Beyu Lip Cream – Velvet Orchid?
No, because of the poor staying power. But I do recommend if you want a shiny glossy effect for 2-3 hours.
