I am back with another lip gloss from Bh Cosmetics. Earlier, I had reviewed the shade “Studious” and today’s product is BH Cosmetics Lip Gloss in Knockout. Let’s see if this acquires better ranking from me than “Studious.”

My Experience with Bh Cosmetics Knock Out Lip Gloss:

Packaging:  The lip gloss comes in a simple and transparent square-shaped cylindrical tube, which is longer than other lip glosses of drugstore brands. A brush is enclosed in the cap instead of a doe-foot applicator which is a flop idea since it results in streaky application. A doe-foot applicator would have been much better than this brush and you better keep your lip brush handy for use with this lip gloss. The cap closes tight, the tube is lightweight and travel safe.

Texture and Finish:  The texture is thick and like a lip cream. Also, it is really creamy and spreads easily on the lips. With no fragrance at all, it feels lightweight on the lips and very slightly sticky. The finish is lustrous with no shimmer particles. The application is tricky in the sense that marking outlines is easy but the brush results in streaky lines on the lips and looks patchy. With a regular broad lip brush, the results are much better except for close-up when you can still notice the streaks because of semi-opaque coverage.

Color and Pigmentation:   The shade is lovely; it’s a true pink with medium intensity. I don’t know but for some reason, the first swipe feels neon, but when I finish the entire lips, it adjusts.  I personally can’t differentiate what is much different between the shade “Studious” and “Knock Out” 😛 Pigmentation is good too.

Longevity:  The creamy texture makes it transferable and not much long lasting. With regular water and snacks etc, it stays on lips for 3-4 hours and starts getting uneven, so reapplication or touch up is required.

• Semi-opaque lustrous finish.

Cons of Bh Cosmetics Knock Out Lip Gloss:

• The brush is useless.
• Streaky application.
• I find the packaging boring.
• Ingredients not mentioned on the packaging.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Bh Cosmetics Knock Out Lip Gloss?

Beautiful on its own, so one can think about picking this up if living in USA, because then you can buy it for $3-4 in sale without paying for taxes and customs. If you are living outside US, I would advice you to skip this one because better options are available in market. I have this one and have no intention to repurchase this or any other shade from the range.
