I was hunting for a good powder that won’t settle into the lines and also absorb oil. I got this compact powder to set my under eye concealer, but since it’s a very lightweight and non-cakey, I use it all over my face. I have never used a BH Cosmetics powder before. I purchased this on a whim to carry in my handbag. I have since ditched my old pressed powder and replaced it with this one. Let’s see how this one fared for me.

Packaging:
The outer packaging is the exact dupe of MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation – arrives in a black matte compact. I like that these powders are super affordable, come in a sturdy, travel-friendly compact with a sponge and a mirror.
Texture:
The powder is too soft to touch and has a very fine texture. It gives light to medium coverage, and if I want more coverage, I use the sponge instead of a large powder brush. It gives perfect finish without looking cakey.

My Experience with BH Cosmetics Studio Pro Matte Finish Pressed Powder:
Nothing is better than the easy-to-use compact powder that you can keep in your bag and use for touch-ups whenever necessary. It can be applied with a large powder brush or the sponge given along with this product. You use the concealer/foundation palette for spot correcting and then apply a layer of the powder and look like you applied an expensive foundation.
The powder doesn’t make you look too powdery, provides light to medium coverage, keeps shine/oiliness at bay for almost 4 hours. I really don’t need the coverage of a typical foundation on an everyday basis – just a little powder to mattify and even out my complexion a bit. This powder does that well. My T-zone experienced slight breakthrough 3 hours later, but that’s expected if we see the weather conditions right now.
It feels like I’ve found a dupe of the much expensive MAC Studio Fix Powder. The texture and the performance are exactly the same. The powder is available in 7 shades. I’m NC25 in MAC and 215 is a perfect match for me. I wear a BB cream or a tinted moisturizer as my everyday routine and this adds that perfect finishing touch. Highly recommend this product! Also, for very oily skin, this product would be a blessing if used as a medium coverage foundation. Overall, the price is good considering the quality of the product.
