My take on Bio Bloom Orange Lavender Rejuvenating Natural Massage Oil :

I have to say this is my first “bath” or “massage” oil so to say, the orange and lavender combo really got me and I am really happy it did.We have some mild winters here in Pune and I do not really indulge in oils or heavy butters for the body. I do not have dry or tanned skin honestly, but some maintenance is always welcome. This oil came to me like a pleasant surprise. Earlier on, some products from Bio Bloom smelt a little too strong for me but this one is just perfect.

This oil smells like mildly bitter orange and mild lavender follows, I am a huge citrus person and I totally enjoyed the fragrance which is subtle yet powerful. I don’t think it would be OTT for anyone at all.

Coming to the packaging of the bottle, it is quite petite, the holes are sized differently and since the oil is not very runny or thin, you can dispense few drops at a time with ease, without any mess or wastage.

Coming to the texture of the oil, it is just right! It is neither thin nor thick, it is something that could be used as a bath oil, post-bath oil, cuticle oil, massage oil and so on. I do not have any staining issues either with the oil, I tried to even pour few drops on a pink bed cover 😛 to test, it does not stain.I don’t think the bottle is travel-friendly.

I enjoy the fragrance as refreshing, I am not sure how much of an anti-depressant or aphrodisiac it is 😛 but yes, it is refreshing to use after gym or pre-bath. Most of you with dry skin would love it more than me, for the qualities it ha. Everyone who likes to indulge in aromatherapy should give it a go as well.

How I like to use Bio Bloom Orange Lavender Rejuvenating Natural Massage Oil:

  • I used it like a pre-bath oil, I apply it as a gentle massage for dry body parts like elbows and knees, keep it on for 15 minutes and I do not need a moisturizer post bath then. Remember, I don’t have dry skin and we have mild winters.
  • I tried using it post-bath and found it so light, that it barely felt greasy. It removed dryness( if at all) and also added a glistening shine to the skin. It does not feel heavy or greasy.
  • It works even for my hands, feet and cuticles and  a few drops is all you need. No massage is needed, just soften it on the hands, feet and nails and done!
  • You could easily add a few drops into your bath water for a fresh bath and skip lotion later on.

*This is how I experimented with the oil, I am sure there are many ways to use this oil.
