Holla Girlies!

Bioderma Sensibio H2O Review

Hope you all are doing good, I have been having an amazing time here in India, got to say, “I love my India.” Today’s review is about one of the most-raved makeup removing product. Makeup artists, bloggers, youtubers swear by this stuff.  Its simply such a “Holy Grail” product and has been used in the beauty world for years I guess, I was living under a rock! Yeah, it’s high time girls in India knew this and I was surprised that there were no Indian reviews for this, so, let me take the privilege to introduce to you Bioderma Sensibio H2O Makeup Remover from France.

I wanted to review this ages ago, but didn’t have the bottle.  Trust me on this, if you use makeup everyday, it will change your skin. I haven’t really believed in the hype until I tried it out 7 months ago and I got to say that it works like a miracle and has changed my skin so much.  Like I said before, I am a huge makeup fan and I have tonnes of it, but I always try out new foundations, blushes and the list goes on and being a lazy girl, I always use wipes to remove my makeup.  Due to this habit, I used to break out and I have tried everything from MAC wipes to makeup removers, but nothing helped.

Bioderma

Most of us know that it is very important to remove makeup, otherwise it will damage the skin or might even cause breakouts.  All of us probably use makeup wipes and then cleanse the skin.  This doesn’t help because makeup wipes only remove about 60% of the makeup and what about the rest? It gets into the skin, reacts and forms blackheads and whiteheads.  This might leave scars, gross right? Yes, makeup can be so dangerous that it can make or break your skin, and sometimes completely destroy your skin. So, please remember to completely take off all your makeup before you sleep.

Let’s get to know about Bioderma:

Product Description:

Sensibio H2O is an ultra-mild cleansing formula:

  • At the cutting edge of innovation, Bioderma has pioneered micellar solutions. Specially formulated for sensitive, normal to dry skins, the Sensibio H2O micelle solution gently cleanses face and eyes. It removes water-resistant make-up.
  • The micelles contained in its formula effectively micro-emulsify impurities while maintaining the skin’s balance (soap-free, physiological pH).
  • Soothing and decongesting active ingredients prevent the feelings of irritation often caused by cleansing.
  • Sensibio H2O guarantees excellent cutaneous and ocular tolerance (tested under ophthalmological supervision).

My Take on Bioderma Sensibio H2O:

I have dry and sensitive skin and anything new that I try, I tend to break out, but since my first use of Bioderma, I fell  in love with this product. It feels like water and effectively removes all the makeup from my face.

I use two cotton balls and I take some Bioderma and rub it all around the face and neck.  The first swipe removes 80% of my makeup and the second swipe removes all the traces and pretty much cleanses the face.

Trust me girls, try this out, it brings a big change in your routine. Its my must-have, even when I travel, I keep a bottle full of Bioderma.

Though its pricey, it will last you for a long time and its worth the money. You will never go back to normal makeup wipes, trust me French skincare is the best.

Finally, all I can say is try Bioderma and say no makeup wipes (spread the word!)

Pros of Bioderma Sensibio H2O:

  • Extremely gentle.
  • Nonoily, nongreasy.
  • Feels like water.
  • Fragrance free.
  • Effectively removes all makeup with two swipes.
  • Works on removing eye makeup and mascara very well.
  • Versatile (I haven’t tried out something like this before).

Cons of Bioderma Sensibio H2O:

None.

  1. Very nice review Harika :)…we do get bioderma products at certain chemists in India..not sure bout the “solution micellaire”..I’ve used the “lotion micellaire” from Vichy in the past and it’s pretty good 2 🙂

  2. I dont even remember how many times I have asked about it at stores here. It’s like the bestest remover ever

  5. Thanks for the review!!! I have been looking for a good makeup remover so far Maybelline Eye and Lip Remover has worked for me and now I switched to Revlon, but this sounds way better than both! Also, nice mehendi 🙂

  6. I have a question…. is it necessary to use a makeup remover..????
i have never used one… i just wash my face with plain water first and then with my regular facewash…. :)) if its needed do suggest me a good one….

    1. i used to be confused abt the same thing but I think makeup remover is a good to do routine cos its specifically targeted to remove the impurities like for eg the maybelline eye and lip makeup remover. what I do is use the cleanser (thicker consistency) over the rest of the face and use the maybelline eye and lip makeup remover wherever i am supposed to. a combination of these 2 makes my face squeaky clean
