Recently on Madam Gupshup, I asked whether I should use two different sunscreens for my face and body. Thanks to the recommendations, I finally bought this new one for my face. So this review is all about Biodermal Anti Age Face Sunscreen SPF 50+. Read on to know how it fared.

How to Use:
Before sun exposure, apply a generous amount on the face. Rub frequently to maintain protection. Keep babies and young children out of direct sunlight. Overexposure to the sun can cause serious skin damage. Avoid direct contact with fabric to prevent stains.

My Experience with Biodermal Anti Age Face Sunscreen SPF 50+:

The sunscreen comes in a cardboard box, unsealed. All the necessary information is there on the box. Inside the box, the sunscreen comes in a tube-like packaging with a pump. The transparent cap on top keeps the pump closed but not very tight; the cap is very flimsy. The small tube packaging is travel-friendly.

The pump dispenses the cream effectively. The sunscreen is creamy white in colour and has a semi-thick consistency. The sunscreen smells fresh and the scent is very mild. The fragrance hardly lasts a few seconds. The sunscreen is meant for face and has SPF of 50+. The sunscreen gets absorbed completely into the skin and doesn’t leave any greasy residue and is very lightweight on the skin. It doesn’t cause any breakouts.

It doesn’t leave any white cast on the face, no matter how much I use. And in this way, I can be sure that I won’t look made up if I need to apply the sunscreen generously. The sunscreen moisturises the skin effectively. It does eliminate dryness and the nourishment goes on for around 6 hours. After that, you need a reapplication of sunscreen.

The product contains both UVA and UVB filters and thus you can sure to be prevented from tan and also premature ageing. The product, due to its high SPF, is good enough for summers and the shelf life of the product is 12 months. I would use a lower SPF for winters. The product, along with sun protection, also offers anti-aging benefits.

It prevents wrinkle formation and pigmentation. I have been using the product for almost more than a month now and my face does not look very tanned now. I have noticed a huge difference on my neck, ears and face. The product acts as a good makeup base too, and even though I follow up with a foundation, it doesn’t look cakey or layered up. The product is water-resistant and is also safe to be used during pregnancy. The sunscreen is great for summers and I love it.
