Biore Pore Unclogging Scrub Review

Biore Pore Unclogging Scrub Review

Hello ladies,

I had an awesome weekend at my sister-in-law’s place. I played so much with kids and by the time I decided to leave, their 4-year-old daughter asked me not to go as she wanted me to stay in her room, my heart melted! We also went to Gilroy Premium Outlets and did lots of shopping for clothes.  We also got some amazing deals and by the end of our shopping trip, I and my SIL were so happy with our purchases that we were smiling from ear to ear.  Coming to today’s review, I have been using scrubs as part of my skin care from my early 20s.  I have always used apricot scrubs or some other scrubs with big exfoliating grains. I have the problem of bigger pores and oily skin and both attract blackheads.  I hate to see even a single blackhead on my nose, so I scrub my skin and try to keep it clean as much as possible. In India, I go for clean-ups regularly, but during my stay in the US, it wouldn’t be possible, so I was looking for a great blackhead elimination scrub and in that search, I bought this one.

My Experience with Biore Pore Unclogging Scrub:

I have always used physical exfoliation, i.e., scrubs with bigger granules and always thought that “more the granules, more the work done.” But that’s not at all the case with this scrub.  This scrub is creamy in consistency with some blue round beads in it. These beads gently exfoliate the skin.  The first time that I used this scrub, I had a doubt whether it would give me the same results as my favourite scrubs with bigger granules.  To my surprise, it did work very well, my skin felt soft, smooth and clean after using this scrub.  This scrub has salicylic acid, which is an anti-acne and oil controlling agent. My pores feel clean and minimized after using this scrub.  So, this product not just works as physical exfoliation, it’s a combination of salicylic acid and blue beads which clean the skin and make it smooth.

It does not dry out my skin, but it does the oil controlling part well, so if you have acne and want a gentle but effective scrub, this can be a great choice. Also people with sensitive skin who do not like scrubs with big granules, will love it. As I use it regularly, I have not had any problem of blackheads yet, so I feel it works on eliminating blackheads too. Coming to the smell, it’s very hard to explain. It feels good some times and at times has a plastic kind of smell, but since it works well for me, I don’t care about the smell so much.

Packaging is the usual tube packaging with flip open cap.  Overall, I like this scrub which feels gentle on the skin, but works wonders for the skin.
