As the weather has changed, my facial skin is behaving strangely. Any cream that I use is too heavy for it. If I use a light moisturiser, it is not sufficient for it. My Experience with Biotique Bio Carrot 40+ SPF UVA/UVB Sunscreen Ultra Soothing Face Cream:
I have tried tons of sunscreens available in the market. But sadly, I found most of them to be too heavy for my skin. Some did suit me time to time. I needed a moisturising sunscreen for my facial skin. This time I picked up Biotique Bio Carrot 40 + SPF UVA/UVB sunscreen Ultra soothing Face cream. It comes in a light brown and pale cream coloured carton.
The actual product comes in a white coloured tub packaging with light orange coloured screw cap. The packaging is quite simple and sturdy.
There is an inner lid provided to avoid product spillage. The cream is white in colour. The product is a light cream, not too thick and has just perfect consistency. It has a mild herbal fragrance. It is not at all overpowering, very pleasant and refreshing, gives perfect summery feel and lingers for 2-3 hours after application.
It spreads effortlessly and takes 1-2 minute time to get absorbed completely. It feels very lightweight and does not make skin look or feel sticky, greasy or oily even if more than the required amount is applied, which is a great plus point in these hot summer days. Once it is absorbed, it leaves face supple and oil-free and prevents excess sweating too. It provides base for makeup too.
On some summer days, I just want to use a sunscreen and compact and I am good to go. This sunscreen cream is perfect for such days as it moisturises well and SPF 40 PA+++ just gets the job done for me. It gives a nice healthy glow to the skin which I liked. It definitely doesn’t give the matte look, but you can set it with compact for matte effect. Also, if you are doing make up for a day time function, it will give the perfect moisturised skin with SPF 40.

Yes, it is a must-have for summer. If you don’t have very dry skin, then you won’t need a moisturiser. This cream will moisturise the skin well. I am not sure about oily skin.
