Hope all of you are enjoying the cold weather snuggled up in your cozy quilts sans the flu and infections it gets along with it. The climate just makes me want to stay at home all day and laze in bed,watch television and munch on lots of popcorn. Gawwwd!!! *waaa* I so wish I was in school, could definitely make up stories and stay back at home, no chances of doing that if you are working *nababana*

Anyway, coming back to today’s review, this is about one hand product I recently picked up and it is a first time for me with this one as I could not find my favorite Vaseline hand and nail cream anywhere in the stores *headbang*, hence I decided to give this a try as I desperately needed a hand cream with the weather turning all cold and dry as my hands tends to get very dry and I constantly need to moisturize them.

My Take on Biotique Bio Nyctanthes Rejuvenating Hand Moisturizer:

The product comes in the typical Biotique packaging, in a leafy green barrel type of tub which is super sturdy and the tub closes with a screw on lid.  The tub also has a very thin cap beneath the screw on lid which does not really make sense to me as you would anyway not leave the container open once you use it and the screw on lid makes sure your product is free from any dust.  Also, the thin film cap is a little bothersome if you are in a hurry and just want to dab on a bit of the cream. Hence, I decided to discard it.  The sturdy packaging makes it very convenient to carry it around in your bag just in case you might want to re-apply.

Directions For Use:

Apply a generous amount on to the palms and massage in to hand until absorbed.

Surajmukhi tail (Helianthus annuus oil), Parijat (Nyctanthes arbortrists), Manjishta (Rubia cordifolia), Ahuva (Bassia latifolia), Neem (Melia azadirachta), Rakt Chandan (Pterocarpus santalinus), Lotion base Q.S

My Experience with Biotique Bio Nyctanthes Rejuvenating Hand Moisturizer:

Although, I was initially disappointed that I could not find my all-time favorite hand cream from Vaseline, I am glad I found something that is as good or should I say even better that that one.

The hand cream is very light pink in color. The consistency of the cream is super thick, but it spreads easily when you try to massage it in to your skin. You need a very small amount for both your hands given it’s thick consistency. It has a mild fragrance which to me feels a little like chamomile and also more like the typical Biotique range of fragrance.

Initially, when you start massaging it on to your hands, you might get an impression that it can leave a greasy feeling but once massaged and blended into the skin, it gets absorbed into the skin and leaves your skin feeling soft and supple and what is even better is that you rarely feel the need to reapply as the moisturizing effect stays all day long and you would only want to go back to it if you have washed your hands with soap cleanser. It not only keeps your hands moisturized, it also works on repairing the dry skin slowly, bringing it back to its natural state, healing all the dry patches. I would not really comment if it does anything for the nails, but for now, it is one great hand cream at a super-affordable price.  The quantity is going to last me the whole season and I am going to stick onto it until I can find something better. Only if we could get it in a tube pack!

Yes, if you have super dry skin around hands, this will work definitely.

Would I Repurchase Biotique Bio Nyctanthes Rejuvenating Hand Moisturizer?

Of course until I find anything better.
