Biotique Gold Radiance Facial Kit with Gold Bhasma Review

Hope you are having a great time with so many festivities and your loved ones. I will be reviewing a facial kit from Biotique. Facial kit is a great option for people who don’t want to spend time and money on salon visits. I always have facial kits at home, mostly for my mother (I seldom use them). I had purchased this Biotique Gold Radiance Facial Kit with Gold Bhasma some while back, and then entirely forgot about it. Here is the review on the same.

Packaging:
Like all other Biotique facial kits, this gold kit too comes in a rectangular cardboard box, golden in color. The five product tubs are the typical white body, green capped ones of Biotique, neatly arranged inside the box. It is good enough if you want to take it for your travels.

My Experience with Biotique Gold Radiance Facial Kit with Gold Bhasma:

I have tried many facial kits by Biotique and other brands. Some have been hits and some not so great. ‘Gold Bhasma’ tempted me and I added this to my cart. The first step is scrubbing. Gold radiance scrub is a pleasant smelling, golden gel based scrub with tiny grains for exfoliation. It is very gentle, but does leave a well-scrubbed, clear skin. Being gel based, it doesn’t irritate skin nor does it dry out.

The second product is gold radiance massage gel. It looks and smells identical to the scrub, minus the exfoliating particles. The gel gets absorbed extremely soon, and I feel massaging becomes a bit difficult. Only if you take a lot of gel, you can comfortably massage it into skin. Something a bit creamier or hydrating would have been better. The third product is the gold radiance peel off mask. My mother absolutely hates peel off masks, so she was bummed with this. I find it okayish, the viscous texture makes it easy to apply. However, there is no such glow or radiance, something you definitely expect out of a “gold” kit.

Fourth product is the swiss magic dark spot corrector, which is creamy in texture and claims to reduce blemishes is an addition in all of Biotique facial kits. However, I feel the claims are too tall as I have used it for a considerable time and not noticed any difference.

The last product is gold face cream. It find it very soft and buttery in texture, and is my favorite one in the kit. It blends easily, gets absorbed soon and gives a soft, supple skin. Skin looks hydrated and nourished. It has a very mild fragrance, which relaxes the senses. The skin does look better, however it doesn’t do anything extraordinary. Effects are short lived. Overall, I find this to be an average kit, which can be easily skipped.

• Skin looks nourished and bright
• Affordable
• Doesn’t break out

Cons of Biotique Gold Radiance Facial Kit with Gold Bhasma:

• Peel-off mask and gel practically do nothing
• Effects are short lived
• No such radiance
• Not suitable for dry skin

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Biotique Gold Radiance Facial Kit with Gold Bhasma?
No! There are far better options to choose from.
