My Experience with Biotique Pearl White Facial Kit with Pearl Bhasma:
The facial kit comes in a silver and light brown coloured cardboard packaging. All the five contents of this facial kit come packaged in tiny tubs. There are five tubs packed inside this packaging. The tubs have the regular Biotique packaging, i.e. a small white coloured tub with a bright green lid. These tubs are small and leak-proof. Each tub has the brand name, product details, and usage instructions printed over it in green colour. There is a white sticker at the base of the tub, which includes details like ingredients list, shelf life, etc. The facial kit has a face scrub, a massage gel, a face pack, a fairness cream and a dark spot corrector. Let us discuss each of these products one by one:
1. Pearl White Face Scrub:
Generally, we start this process with cleansing but this kit does not come with any cleanser. Scrubbing is the first step of this facial kit. So, I use some other facial cleanser to cleanse my skin and then follow with this scrub. The scrub comes in a small tub, which has a green coloured screw on type lid. There is a white coloured safety cover also, which ensures that the tub remains leak- proof. The green lid is screw on type and fits tightly. The scrub has a very mild flowery kind of fragrance, which is non-bothering.
The scrub looks clear in colour with some pearly white or silver particles suspended in it. The scrub has gel like consistency; it is neither too thick nor runny. The scrub is filled with very tiny exfoliating micro particles. The granules are as small as salt granules. I did not find it to be great for exfoliating purposes. If you like large exfoliating granules, you will not like this one. It does not feel like a scrub rather it gives a feel of some gel. It is non-abrasive. It is good for mild exfoliation and good for sensitive skin. The scrub made my skin too oily after use. My face got so oily after that! I scrub my face using this product for about 30 seconds to a minute as given in the instructions.
2. Pearl White Massage Gel:
Applying this massage gel is the second step. The massage gel also comes in a white tiny tub, which is absolutely leak-proof. The massage gel is also clear in colour like the facial scrub. It has tiny silver particles suspended in it. Consistency wise, it is gel-like. This is neither too thick nor too runny. It smells floral too.
It has the typical Biotique fragrance, which most of the Biotique products have. But it is mild and refreshing. The gel sinks into the skin well but not completely. I massage it on my skin for 5-10 minutes, but it does not get absorbed completely. It casts a heavy oily sheen on my skin. I leave it as it is for 10 minutes then wipe it off with damp cotton. Still, my skin remains too oily.
3. Pearl White Face Pack:
Here comes the third step, i.e. the face pack. The face pack also has the same packaging like that of scrub and gel. The usage instructions are mentioned at the base. The face pack is milky white in colour. It has that mild and refreshing Biotique fragrance, which is quite non-bothering for me. I love its mixed flowery to herbal kind of fragrance. The face pack is quite thick in consistency.
It spreads evenly onto the skin in a thick even layer. Though, it is advised to keep this pack for 15-20 minutes, it does not dry in this time frame (may be due to its creaminess). The mask claims to reduce suntan and contribute to skin lightening. The face mask can be washed off easily. It does not make the skin too oily but still I can observe some oily cast on my skin.
4. Swiss Magic Dark Spot Corrector:
This facial kit comes with this additional Swiss magic dark spot corrector, which claims to reduce dark spots of the skin. It also comes in the similar white and green tub packaging. It is milky white in colour. It has a sweet herbal aroma. I do not have any issues with such fragrances. But, it might bother some people.
The texture is soft and buttery smooth. It is thick in consistency. It absorbs pretty well into the skin within seconds. It does not make my skin oily. So, I like the overall feel of this product. It does not feel heavy on the skin. The product instructions suggest to use it on the affected area.
5. Pearl White Fairness Face Cream:
Here comes the final step of this product. The fairness face cream is the last step of this facial kit. The cream comes in a plastic tub. The cream is peach coloured. It has a very thick and creamy in consistency. It is almost buttery.
It has a typical herbal aroma. This cream claims to be a ‘fairness cream’. It spreads evenly on the skin and sinks with proper massaging. But, the product takes really long to get absorbed into the skin well. It may take up to 10 minutes to get absorbed completely. This cream made my skin too oily again.
Final Results:
Firstly, the facial kit is good for dry skin types. But, it makes my combination skin too oily after use. So, this facial kit is not fit for combination to oily skin types. It will surely make the skin super oily. The product is good enough for two uses still there will be some amount left. It claims to give fairer complexion and to reduce dark spots with two uses. I have used it twice. But, I did not observe skin lightening with two uses. But, it has reduced my dark spots up to a good extent. The treatment gives a nice glow and healthy shine to the skin. My skin felt moisturized and nourished after each use. But, these results last hardly for two or three days. I have acne prone skin and this facial kit was pretty safe on my skin. Overall, it gives okayish results, but the claims are quite far-fetched.

Yes, it is good for dry skinned beauties exclusively. But its results last for a very short period of time.
