My Experience with Bite Beauty Agave Lip Balm:

Bite’s Agave Lip Balm comes in a stubby grey rubberized tube that looks like a big size pill. The packaging has a matte finish with the product name written on lighter grey print, making the tube look all the more sleek and chic.

Bite Beauty Agave Lip Balm Packaging

The balm itself looks slightly yellowish in color, but when applied it doesn’t have any tint and goes on clear. The balm has a very light vanilla fragrance but nothing noticeable. The consistency of the balm is very thick and and stiff. Since the balm is very thick, the application may be a bit tough, but once applied, it does magic to the lips. Though the balm may feel a bit waxy in the beginning, that feeling vanishes in a bit. I love the mask that it feels very moisturizing and makes my lips very soft and hydrated. This balm can also be used as a lip primer and infact it does that job pretty well.

Bite Beauty Agave Lip Balm Cap Open

This balm makes a nice base for any liquid lipsticks or lipsticks. So, if you’re looking in the market for a more moisturizing lip primer, this may be something to try. I had no bleeding/feathering while using it as a primer, and it did not cause any more transfer than normal, on top of which it kept my lips from drying out.

Bite Beauty Agave Lip Balm Hand Swatch

Just like any other Bite Beauty products, this balm is also made up of several lip loving natural ingredients like lanolin, shea butter, beeswax, blue agave nectar, and vanilla. The lip balm has an amazing staying power as well and it stayed for more than five hours and even survived meals. I really like this balm. I even have the Fresh lip therapy but I will always recommend this balm for intensive lip treatment. So, let’s sum up the pros and cons.

Pros of Bite Beauty Agave Lip Balm:

  • Chic packaging.
  • Thick consistency.
  • Made up of natural ingredients.
  • Moisturizing and hydrating.
  • Intensive treatment.
  • Long-lasting.

Cons of Bite Beauty Agave Lip Balm:

  • No SPF.
  • May feel a bit stiff during application.
