Hope you all are doing great. Liquid lipsticks are a rage nowadays. Even though the liquid formula provides a bold wash of colour, not everyone is a fan of the dry pouts. Thankfully, Bite Beauty has launched a new product, which provides all the benefits of a liquid lipstick without the Sahara Desert dryness on the lips. Bite Beauty has launched their iconic Amuse Bouche Lipsticks in the liquified form. These highly pigmented lip colours feature a nourishing formula of food-grade ingredients – such as monoi butter and coconut oil – to leave lips full of colour and moisture. So today, I am going to talk about the Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick in the shade Marsala, which I purchased using the IMBB Sponsorship Scheme. So, let’s get started with the review.
Price: $24 for 0.25 oz

My Experience with Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick Marsala:
The packaging of these lipsticks is adorable. They come housed in a beautiful dark grey matte tube with a color-coded strip at the bottom. This color-coding makes identifying the desired shade easy. There is also a light grey cardboard box which contains the product details and the ingredient list. The variant’s name is written at the bottom of the tube. There is a regular doe foot applicator that helps in proper and precise application of the lip color.
This collection comprises of 12 food-inspired shades. The names range from Braised (a pinky-red hue) to Whip (a buttery peach) and all these shades provide full-coverage creamy colour without any harmful ingredients. Hence, these lipsticks do not contain any parabens, sulfate, petrochemical or phthalate. The shades range from nudes to deep maroon – with everything in between. Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick Marsala is a deeply purpled berry shade with warm undertones and a satiny-cream finish.
The Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick Marsala has a gorgeous creamy feel with what they describe as a “semi-glaze” finish. These were designed to be nourishing on the lips, using natural ingredients like coconut oil, monoi butter and citrus flavour. These ingredients ensure that the formula glides on the lips smoothly, leaving a creamy feel that hydrates during the wear. It has a lightweight, fluid consistency that’s neither runny nor thick on the lips.
It does not fully dry down and feels mostly like a liquid-form of a satin finish lipstick. It feels luxurious on the lips with a really soft touch that doesn’t ever feel heavy or sticky. The lip color is incredibly pigmented and spreads evenly across the lips. It has a slightly tacky feel on the lips. It does have a scent which is super fresh and fruity – nothing too perfumed or overwhelming.
This is not a traditional liquid lipstick. It does not have the true liquid to matte formula, it’s a true liquified lipstick. The formula is full colour, comfortable and satiny. Because it is not a matte formula, it is not transfer proof but that’s okay with me. I still get a good wear time of around 5 hours. It does fade a bit after a meal but it fades evenly. Since this is a deeper shade it does leave a stain.
I love these lipsticks. They are modern yet perform like a traditional Amuse Bouche. The Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick range is a winner. The shades are gorgeous, highly pigmented, apply well without drying out the lips or clutching on to the dry patches – just like a regular liquid lipstick.
I am so impressed with these and I am planning to get more shades. I highly recommend Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick Marsala to anyone who is comfortable with this lip color. But if you are looking for a regular matte finish liquid lippies then these are not for you.
