Bite Beauty is one brand which is famous for their food grade cosmetic products, I have been eyeing this brand for so long and recently I went ahead and made a purchase. Today I am going to talk about “Bite Beauty High Pigment Lip Pencil Quince”, so without further rambling let’s get into the review.

My Experience with the Bite Beauty High Pigment Lip Pencil Quince:

Packaging:

Bite Beauty High Pigment is a beautiful slightly rubberized dark grey pencil packaging with a colour-coded ring at the bottom.There is also an outer grey cardboard box with the product details, ingredient list and the shade name. This is a twist up pencil, which is very convenient to use and as no product wastage from sharpening. Overall packaging is top class with this product.

Shade:

Bite offers a huge array of shades in their high pigment lip pencil line. As most of you probably already know, Bite Beauty is a Canadian company that uses food-grade ingredients to make their lip products. They also have a “Lip Lab” in New York that allows you to customize your own lipstick, which is a makeup lovers dream come true. Quince is a gorgeous fuschia berry pink shade. The colour is very flattering and you don’t need to work hard on eyes or cheeks as the colour will very much pull all the attention. The colour is also universally flattering and will take any makeup look to the next level.

Formula:

The formula of these pencils is very moisturizing and smooth. These have an amazing pigmentation and are true to their name ‘High Pigment Lip Pencils’, very pigmented. These are so creamy and applies well on the lips without tugging or pulling. The extra creaminess in this pencil gives them a satin finish which makes them all the more comfortable on the lips.

Since this lippie is very creamy, it may seem to feather and bleed outside the lips and may require a lip liner and little powdering to avoid this.

Staying Power:

They do have a decent staying power, they last almost four to five hours.They tend to wear off evenly after a meal, but it is easier to reapply. These also leave a beautiful stain on the lips.

Overall I am in love with this edible lip product, and will surely purchase some more products from this brand.
