Bite Beauty is famous for their food grade beauty products, especially their phenomenal lipsticks. I love their lip products and recently purchased a lip pencil by this brand. So today, I am going to review the ‘Bite Beauty Lip Pencil 032’. Read on to find out how this one fared for me.

My Experience with Bite Beauty Lip Pencil 032:

The lip pencil comes housed in a regular sharpenable wooden pencil, which has a color-coded strip at the bottom that makes the identification of the actual shade easier. The packaging is pretty sturdy and neat.

Bite Beauty offers a whopping 40 shades in their lip pencil collection. There are nudes, neutrals, pinks, berries, reds, and vampy colors; they have put in all possible shades you can think of in this range. There are no specific shade names to the colors, all of them are numbered instead.

I picked the shade ‘032’, which is a beautiful mauve color with a hint of brown. The color is a lovely mauvy nude shade and it will complement fair to medium tanned skin tones very well. The formula of the lip pencil is like an old-school lip pencil – it is not extremely creamy but not dry either. I would call it semi-creamy.

The pigmentation of the lip pencil is amazing. One stroke gives opaque shade pay off. The formula is packed with shea butter, making the texture creamy and nice. The pencil applies very well without tugging or pulling the lips. If the lips are not exfoliated these may tend to cling on dry patches. Though the pencil is creamy it does not break even if pressure is applied.

The product lasts an entire day – almost for eight hours – without fading. If the lip pencil is worn alone it may tend to cling to dry patches at the end of the day, but if it’s worn under a lipstick that may not be the case.
