My Experience with Bite Beauty Radish Amuse Bouche Lipstick:

packaging

The lipstick comes in the signature gray bullet packaging with a cap that shuts tight. This lipstick comes enclosed in a gray cardboard box. It does have a pleasant and citrusy smell, pretty much to my liking; it fades soon after application. Overall, I am pretty happy with this user-friendly & travel-friendly packaging.

name

My shade, Radish, is described as a deep magenta, which is true to its description as it comes up as a blue-based magenta pink on my pale light skin tone. I feel that this color has the tendency to come up like a raspberry pink on fair skin with pink undertones. It tends to look bright neon magenta pink on my fair skin tone with yellow undertones. I like its light-weight, lip hugging and satin finish which gives a nearly opaque coverage on my lips. It also reminds me of Buxom Big & Sexy Bold Gel Lipstick Forbidden Berry as both these shades look similar on my skin tone; Forbidden Berry is more glossy in finish.

lipstick

Even Radish gives a high shine finish on my lips, and I love its decently hydrating and creamy formula. It does not bleed or feather around the lips. Unlike Persimmon, I see that Radish is somehow melting in the packaging hence, a small heads up to keep these lipsticks away from hot places considering it’s summer. The texture of the lipstick is slippery as it glides easily on my normal-dry lips, letting go of minor dryness and pigmentation. It then sets into a satin and glossy finish with a full-color payoff.

bullet

I am also impressed to see that the glossy and creamy texture stays put for good 5-6 hours on my lips and then fades into a soft pink sheen. This sheen looks good on its own though it might be tricky for dry patches and lip lines. It neither feels overly drying nor does it feel intensely hydrating–just moisturizing enough to let go of minor dryness on my lips. Impressive, huh? Needless to say, I am in love with this color, the staying power and the formula which is infused with some 12 edible oils.

beautiful pink lipstick

Not to forget, it has food grade colors that make it good enough for dinner/lunch parties. 😛 I just feel slightly concerned about its transferring nature as it leaves marks everywhere and
might transfer onto the chin even with the slightest touch. I can never enjoy big bites of burgers, cakes with this lipstick on as it transfers too much. 😛 Nevertheless I won’t mind touch ups with this beauty, I wore it a couple of times on my Disneyland LA trip and it gave me a picture perfect skin every time. I am pretty happy with these lipsticks and definitely recommend these to everyone.
