Black Radiance Artisan Color Caramel Baked Bronzer Review

I don’t usually use bronzers because I have naturally dusky complexion and my skin tends to tan very easily on a very short exposure to sun. High point of my face is ironically my high cheek bones, well not that high, but I can accentuate them buy using appropriate blush. Bronzers are another way to do that and I recently purchased one. Following is my take on it 🙂

My Take on Black Radiance Artisan Color Caramel Baked Bronzer:

This bronzer reminds me of Lakme Absolute bronzer because both have more shimmer than one desires in a bronzer and the color is not dark enough to be used as a bronzer on dusky complexion, but all glitches apart, I still bought it because I liked the color and thought it can be used as a highlighter as well as a shadow.

Packaging: Product is in a plastic pan which is then attached to a plastic case with a see-through cover. The packaging is not very sturdy and the cover of the case is a little wobbly. However, I love how the product is pressed into the pan even though it has no in-built mirror or a brush.

Texture: It’s a baked powder bronzer with no fallout and homogeneous shimmer. One can dab off the excess from the brush during application to remove any loose pigment. It is very soft in texture and blends effortlessly.

Color: Very pretty light tan bronze hue with varying intensity of brown in each shade. It does not have big chunky shimmer particles that would get transferred or spread all over the place, but has really smooth particles like baby powder which gives a homogeneous finish.

Pigmentation: Awesome pigmentation if used as a highlighter. One sweep is enough for a cheek, in fact more than that might look too garish and unnatural. Fair skin tone people can use it as a bronzer, but I personally avoid shimmer bronzers for contouring. If one uses this product, then a highlighter is not required since it has a highlighter shade and is perfect for accentuating cheek bones, brow bone and Cupid’s bow.

Shimmer and Shine: It has a very pretty sheen to it , ut one has to exercise caution while using it or face might end up looking too greasy or orange, especially during summer. If used sparingly, it can give a good lift to cheek bones, hide double chin and skim down chubby nose.
