Black Radiance Urban Identity Ambition Shadow Trio Review

From Black Radiance, I have purchased only those shades which I don’t have in my eye shadow stash. Last time I reviewed olive green shade by this brand and today it’s a trio of purple shades. Today, during my trip to CVS, I came across these new eye shadows launched by Black Radiance and even though my previous experience with this brand is not so good, I still went ahead and bought this product because I wanted a purple shade.

My Experience With Black Radiance Urban Identity Ambition Shadow Trio:

Packaging: For a non- high end brand, the packaging is commendable and even better than some higher end ones. Product comes in a thick plastic case with a clear lid. There are three varying shades of purple, which are neatly packed in square sections. Irrespective of packaging, I de-pot all the eye shadows and added them to my custom palette.

Texture: It is a powder eye shadow set in cake form, which is very smooth and easy to apply. Even the shade with mild shimmer is smooth and does not feel gritty.

Color: Medium toned purple with shimmer, light indigo blue with matte finish and silver with purple undertones. One can use individual colors or in combination to achieve different looks for different occasions. Purple shade is perfect for a smokey eye look or to enhance crease of hooded eyes.

Pigmentation: Very good pigmentation. I gently swiped my finger tips on the shadows to take a picture and was delightfully amazed to see the color my finger tips picked up. Two swipes are enough to get an intense eye look.

Wear time: 5-6 hours, after which it starts to crease. One can increase the wear time with the use of a primer or white eye shadow underneath.

Conclusion: This is a very good product for the money paid. Each trio pack offers a varying range of shades which are sufficient to complete the look. The shade correct might not be that visible on dark lids, hence one has to use a corrector or concealer and further layer it with a primer to get make the color more obvious.

Would I Repurchase Black Radiance Urban Identity Ambition Shadow Trio??
No, because it will last me a long time but would try out other shades. It’s worth a buy on next trip to my local drug store.
