Black and white nail art
As most of you on IMBB would be, I’m also a big nail color maniac and always keep buying nailpaints wherever I go. I recently got to attend a close friend’s wedding. She is a Christian and had to dress up in white so I go I was looking out for a nice white nail color which I never got. They were mostly silverish whites. I then got the color Vanilla from lakme and tried it on my nails as well my friends. She was convinced but I was not since it was too watery and I had to keep putting so many coats. Ok now that the wedding is over, I thought I could do a simple nail art with it. To be frank, I’m no good nail artist and this is my first attempt. So please forgive me if you don’t really like it. I did a black and white nail art. Products used: 1.lakme true wear nail color vanilla
2.lakme insta liner black
Method:
1.Clean your nails thoroughly
2.Apply a single coat of vanilla on your nails evenly
3.Leave for 2-3 minutes
4.Reapply the color
5.Allow to dry
6.Using lakme insta liner,make your favourite design like a heart or a star or a flower
7.Make sure the black design is in the middle of the nail
8.If needed, fill the design with the black liner
Voila! you are done with your pretty nail art.
Friends, this is for beginners. Those who are good at it can start using other colour combos. For other colors, you will need a thin painted brush like the ones which we use for eyeliners.

Ya Jaish it is an eyeliner.The problem is it will get washed off soon..so better use a waterproof one..or lakme black nail color can be used with a thin brush 🙂
oh sounds like a cool option. can wear it for a party and wash off the design the base still stays.. wow!!! :yes: :yes:

Lovely tut!!! even i do the same thing..but what i do is…after the liner dries completely…i apply colorless topcoat..!!the problem of the design washin off will be gone then….

woo hoo.. i am definitely trying this out!!! and to keep the liner from running out I’ll use a clear coat of nail enamel on top of it… I guess it should help from water ruining the look 🙂

hows dis shade ? is it plain white or shimmery ?
Pretty and easy peasy. :)) These days I don’t have time to apply nail paints only forget designs….:(( But I am loving these hearty heart nail art tutes. :))
This shade is not too shimmery…its a nice white color…but little watery..u need to apply 2-3 coats to make a thick layer 🙂
Nivedita if u use a waterproof one and wear a transparent nail coat on top of it,it stays for quite a long time
