Bliss Fabulips Sugar Lip Scrub Pout Polisher

Today I am going to review a product that is high up on my ‘Currently Loving’ list. It’s a lip scrub from Bliss but completely different from the lip scrubs I have used so far. 🙂

I LOVE IT! I am a huge lip scrub and lip balm hoarder in winters. I like to wear bright lipsticks and that too matte.. a very bad combination if you have dry chapped lips. So the only way is to exfoliate your lips often and moisturise them even more often. I absolutely love Lush Lip Scrubs. But they have a tendency to dry up after a while. So I have never been able to finish up a full jar. I was thinking of The Body Shop Lip Scuff. But the review isn’t great for the product. I found this Bliss Lip Scrub at Sephora a while back. It smells like orange vanilla cupcake. 😛
I have to say that it is expensive but I couldn’t resist buying it. The ingredients sound nice. But what sold me was the texture. It has a lip balm like base with a semi granular texture. If you have ever tried this lip scrub tip of mine, you would know what texture I am talking about. It is not harsh. It gives that base of soft lip balm that nourishes your lips. And the sugar granules that exfoliate your lips. Plus the yummy fragrance. In my books it is a hit.
If I have to compare it with Lush Lip Scrub i’d say that Bliss one is gentler on lips. And this wouldn’t have the problem of drying up. Also, this is not messy at all. Lush lip scrub you have to use in-front of the sink only. This you can use anywhere and anytime.
I keep it on my vanity table all the time and use it every other day just before applying a lipstick. Within a few seconds of gentle scrubbing with this product, you lips look super healthy and soft. You can even skip applying lip balm after this. Sometimes you don’t want that slippery texture of lip balm before applying a lipstick.
If you are on a budget, you can totally skip this and follow the go-to-lip balm tip. But I would also go to the extent os saying that this is a MUST HAVE. It would last you long. It is easy to carry around. It is easy to use. It works. And winters, one can definitely indulge in these little jars of goodness. 🙂
I just wish this came in the tube version as well. That would have been just perfect.
Overall, it is the best lip scrub I have ever used. Totally love it. 🙂
