My experience about Blistex medicated mint lip balm:

I was so happy to see this lip balm because its just  perfect for summer . It contains coca butter , mint flavour , and SPF 15, what else do we need in a lip balm ? Coca butter moisturizes lips , mint gives very cooling sensation and I do not think I will have to tell you anything about SPF 15 .

Now about the lip balm. When I apply this lip balm first of all, I feel a very nice cooling and soothing sensation which comforts me a lot ( just apply the lip balm and drink chilled water immediately .. ufff just like haven :p ) . It does not stay for  long, I have to reapply it after one and a half hour . It feels like a very thin coat over lips . It glides very easily and its absolutely colorless so you can apply this lip balm beneath your lipsticks as a base .The strong odor of mint scent fades after 15-20 mins of application but the cooling sensations lasts for much longer . Recently I got to know that our lips needs more hydration in summer than in winter . And that’s true for me I feel cause my lips are more dry and are chapped now a days where as in winters, I rarely faced this problem . To cure this problem I have got such a nice product and its like my HG products because I have got 24 lipbalms . Trust me girls it one of the best lip balms I have come across . Its a perfect friend of your lips in summer .
It does moisturize well, does not feel heavy on my lips at all and protects my lips when I am in the sun . In short I am totally in love with this lip balm . And am giving this lip balm to everyone like my sisters , my friends and for that matter to my daughter’s friends also .

For the packaging part , I liked the packaging its cute green colored , sturdy typical roll on type packaging just like our lipsticks . Its so tiny that we can carry it easily in our clutches also .

Pros of Blistex Medicated Mint Lip Balm:

1. Moisturizes well.
2. SPF 15.
3. Does not feel heavy at all.
4. Sooths the chapped lips .
5. Cooling sensation .
6. Affordable.
7. Creamy enough so that glides very easily .

Cons of Blistex Medicated Mint Lip Balm:

Availability can be a problem .

But its available on ebay and amazon . You can get it from there . I do not think its available in India.

Do I recommend Blistex Medicated Mint Lip Balm?

Of course , its a great product for daily use in summers . Its 100 % safe and did not  irritate my lips so I do not think it will irritate anyone’s. Loved this lip balm!
