Skin type: Oily and sensitive
Last month, I felt some dryness around my cheeks, so I picked a moisturiser suitable for combination skin. Today, I am going share my views on Blossom Kochhar Aroma Magic Clary Sage Moisturising Lotion. Let’s get into the review.
Price: Rs.190/- for 100ml
Enriched with SPF 15, it protects, moisturises and nourishes your skin. Being rich in Natural vitamins, minerals and fatty acids, the combination of kokum butter, aloe vera juice and olive oil help to nurture and deeply hydrate the skin.
My Experience with Blossom Kochhar Aroma Magic Clary Sage Moisturising Lotion:
Blossom Kochhar Aroma Magic Clary Sage Moisturising Lotion comes in a clear plastic bottle with a pump dispenser. The bottle is travel-friendly and the pump makes it easy to use. I really like this packaging. But, somehow I received a slightly damaged bottle. As the bottle is transparent, one can see the amount of product left inside.
The lotion is specially formulated for combination skin types, and it has a medium soft creamy consistency, which glides effortlessly on the skin. Because of its smooth texture, it blends well into my skin. I really like its blending quality as it gets absorbed within few minutes. It feels gentle and lightweight, and it looks like a gel-based product.
Though it is suitable for combination skin, it never feels heavy or greasy on my oily skin. At the first usage, my skin felt slightly dry and then, it worked so well and felt so comfortable. The lotion provides a great relief to my dry cheeks and cures the dryness. It actually provides a soft, supple and dewy finish to my skin. The lotion also carries some amazing floral smell that is very pleasant to all.
The lotion mainly has Clary Sage oil, Neroli oil and Rosewood oil, and these oils work well in treating the dryness. It also contains vitamins, butter, olive oil and aloe vera that work great in providing an intense nourishment to the skin. Like its claims, the lotion provides a rich moisturization to my skin. It instantly makes my skin soft and smooth, and my skin looks healthy too. It repairs the dry, rough texture and keeps my skin hydrated for long. It is not a heavy moisturiser but works well in providing sufficient moisturization to the skin.
I think the lotion is good for all skin types but, it can’t control facial oil. Now, with the weather change, my skin turns oily again, so if I apply it during the day, my skin feels oily after 2-3 hours. So, I prefer to use it during the night, and it gives me that desired result. The lotion is not suitable for oily skinned beauties during summer. During the day, it might cause a lot of sweat. If you have combination to normal or even dry skin, you can use it as your daily moisturising lotion.
The lotion adds a healthy texture and imparts a beautiful radiance to my skin. It revives my dull, tired skin and provides a refreshing feel to it. Since I started using it, my skin has become smoother and softer. Also, this hydration lasts long on the skin. I also use it on my body, and it works great as well. It keeps my skin(body) moisturised for long. The lotion is enriched with SPF 15, which is not sufficient for our Indian summer. It doesn’t cause any breakouts and it suits my sensitive skin well.
Overall, it is a good moisturiser for combination to dry skin that fulfils all its claims effectively. I really like this product. Right now, it’s too hot in my city so, I prefer a gel-based product for the daytime, and I use this lotion as my night-time moisturiser, and it makes my skin smoother and softer.
