My Experience with Bobbi Brown Blush Poppy
From past few months I have barely used any other powder blushes other than the Bobbi brown Blushes. I have made a palette of 4 blushes and they stay and travel with me all the time. Poppy is a gorgeous reddish earthy toned blush. In pan it looks a bit scary reddish but it gives the most natural glow to the skin. For those who have dusky skin tone, this is your ‘natural flush’ color girls. 🙂 That said, it is a great color for all skin tones. It totally depends on how you apply it.
The blush is super pigmented so you have to be careful while applying it or you could end up getting ‘smacked on the cheek’ look. Use it sparingly and let it do the job.
The staying power is incredible. Also the colder weather is helping it to stay for good 7-8 hours and I still see a light flush of color on my cheeks until I remove my makeup at the end of the day.
The blush goes on smoothly and blends seamlessly in the skin. It gives a very natural color to the cheeks.
You could also use it a contouring color. Apply this color at the back of your cheeks and then apply a light pink color just on the apples. You’d get an amazing ‘shaded and chiselled’ glow on the cheeks.
These blushes have never broken me out. The texture is smooth and not at all powdery or chalky. Does not accentuate the pores at all. Plus does not feel dry on cheeks.
It is a matte blush but does not look flat on the skin. It still gives that little natural glow to the skin.
I don’t have a single con to list for these Bobbi Brown powder blushes. Worth every single penny. 🙂
Poppy is especially my ‘warm wintery glow’ blush. 🙂

Bobbi Brown stuff is exceptional. I think the understated elegance and quality sometimes goes un-noticed. This one gives you a nice winter warmth! lovely shade!
