My Experience with The Body Shop Amazonian Acai Energising Radiance Mask:

Let me start off by explaining what the mask does – this is a gel-based mask that contains exfoliating beads that claims to revive dull and fatigued skin and improve skin texture. The invigorating scent instantly refreshes and rejuvenates the mind! The product is a light crimson-colored gel with exfoliating granules that are not harsh on the skin. The gel consistency makes it easy to spread on the face and there is no problem of the mask drying up causing your skin to stretch.

I religiously apply the mask thrice a week and leave it on for 15 minutes or slightly more (the bottle says 10 minutes but I love the smell so much)! Well, I gently scrub my entire face while washing off with lukewarm water and pat dry. Voila! Say hello to fresh, plump skin that’s revived from all signs of weariness. I find this mask to be the perfect “pick-me-up” after a hectic day at work. As it works its magic in less than 10 minutes, this can also be your “go-to prep” right before a party.

I believe it is the goodness of ingredients like acai that brightens up skin so effectively. Acai berries contain Vitamin A, C and E, making it ideal for skin regeneration. The mask does tingle lightly on application, but the sensation fades soon after.
