The Body Shop Tea Tree and Lavender Camomile Blotting Tissues

The Body Shop Tea Tree and Lavender Camomile Blotting Tissues

Today, I’m going to review two of my all-time favorite blotting tissues, The Body Shop Blotting Tissues in Tea Tree and Lavender.

The Body Shop Blotting Tissues in Tea Tree and Lavender

Blotting Tissues, basically blot/absorb all the oil from a particular area where you place them. These are real helpful when your skin gets oily due to heavy makeup, or if you have naturally oily/combination skin such as mine. Blotting tissues absorb the oil without messing up the makeup as in the case of an ordinary facial tissue paper. I have a combination skin, which tends to get super oily on my T-zone, especially when I apply makeup. I WORSHIP blotting tissues!!!!

I’ll first review the The Body Shop Tea Tree Blotting Tissues.

The Body Shop Blotting Tissues in Tea Tree and Lavender

These blotting tissues are infused with tea tree oil and are especially made for blemished skin which is acne prone. I like this one a lot. Each sheet has a beautiful Tea Tree fragrance to it. It absorbs all the excess oil from my face and while doing so, it also nourishes my skin.

Now, the Lavender Blotting Tissues.

These are especially made for sensitive skin. I use these only on occasions as compared to the Tea Tree blotting tissues that I use almost everyday (because of their acne-fighting properties).

The Body Shop Blotting Tissues in Tea Tree and Lavender

Each sheet has a very subtle lavender fragrance to it.

This is how it looks when the oil is absorbed from the skin. The blotting paper turns a bit translucent.

    1. Thank you, love! 🙂
Haha yeah I feel the same. The sheet gets used up when I place it just on one cheek. I end up using 4 sheets on my face at once. 😐

  1. WOW,this is such a relief…..in india we never had too many oprtions with the wet tissues as compared to other countries….discovery of this product will help lot of us..price is fair enough!
:thanks: preiti 4 this beautiful review…i will hunt the ‘TEA TREE ‘ TISSUE :happydance:

    1. I’m glad this review was helpful to you, Srishi. 🙂
Do note, these are dry tissues and not wet yeah… You get them at almost all Body Shop outlets.
      Good luck,
      Much love
      xx

  2. My friend owns the tea tree, and she gave me some to try. They are only $5 in Australia (the country is super ridiciously over priced) so it’s pretty good value, but I feel as if my cheaper ones I got from Hong Kong do the exact same thing for only AUS$0.80. But I guess if I didn’t get the chance to go overseas, this would be my first choice. But they don’t sell the lavender ones here 🙁
I wonder if the tea tree infused blotting paper actually does help with acne ..

    1. I hope the tea tree blotting papers help with acne, since they have the ingredient in it. Might as well work on the skin! lol
      😀

    1. These are dry blotting papers, Neha. They’re not like wet wipes. They only absorb the oil from the face without messing up your makeup unlike tissues/wetwipes. 🙂
      xx

    1. Thank you! 🙂
Yup, you can use them when you wear makeup and your skin gets a little shiny. The blotting tissues/papers absorb the oil leaving a matte finish on your skin.

  3. Very nice product and thanks for the review preiti.. i too had the same question as neha.. also how do u use this product just dab it at the oily zone and take it off?? :jalwa:

    1. Thank you, Gurpreet. 🙂

These blotting papers are completely dry, a lot like butter paper. They’re not like wet wipes. You just need to place these on your skin and press gently to let the sheet absorb the oil from your skin. Hope this helps!!

      xx

  4. Preiti…..thanks for the review……a reminder that how much I need blotting tissues…and just 175 rupeessssssssssss……..i want :woot: :woot: :woot: :woot: :woot: :woot:

    1. You can use them any time of the year, Parita. Especially when attending parties and your skin gets shiny with makeup, these are very helpful. They mattify your skin. 🙂

  5. Wow, just 175 bucks? That’s perhaps one of the cheapest TBS products ever. 😛 I don’t need blotting tissues thanks to my dry skin but will recommend it to my oily skinned friends. 😀 😀 Good review, Preiti.
