The Body Shop Ginger Sparkle Body Butter Review

The Body Shop Ginger Sparkle Body Butter

Hi Guys,
I totally love the month of December, I’m looking forward to Christmas break, and I hope you are too.In Australia most offices are shut down between 25 dec and 1st January. We usually travel interstate during this time either to Melbourne and Sydney and look forward to spending time with friends. Another thing is how beautiful all the houses look with Christmas decorations…I’m also looking forward to the 26th Dec because it is Boxing day, and Boxing day sales is the biggest sale in Australia. However, the discounts aren’t as much like in America for black Friday or cyber Monday. I usually pick up some goodies on blackfriday but I’m not planning to do it this year because of my recent hauls☹.

Back to the review, I’ll be reviewing the last product from my body shop ginger sparkle body butter.

My Experience The Body Shop Ginger Sparkle Body Butter

I have already reviewed the body shop ginger sparkle shower gel and I always use this in conjunction with this body butter. This is part of the Body shop festive edition for Christmas. The other two ranges available are cranberry joy (repeat from last year) and vanilla bliss (brand new).A huge collection is available and there are many gift sets in many price ranges available. Out of all the festive collection the ginger sparkle lot look the most “festive” because of the cute gingerbread man on the packaging, covered in snow flake.
swatch
The fragrance is of light spicy ginger and to me it smells just like gingerbread cookies. This does not have much sweetness to it so if you love girly fragrances then this product is not for you. On the other hard because of this ginger fragrance, it is good for use by both sexes. I find this pretty good for use in winter especially because this scent gives warmth and also is comforting during winter.

I got this in travel size and it is not mentioned if it is for normal, dry or extremely dry skin. Since these are special editions for Christmas I feel this is suitable for all skin types and as a result this body butter is good for you if you have normal or slightly dry skin but not suitable if you have extremely dry skin.

Pros of The Body Shop Ginger Sparkle Body Butter

• Lovely spicy ginger fragrance and is a unisex fragrance
• Cute ginger bread man with snowflakes on the label makes the ginger sparkle range festive and good for Christmas gifts.
• The fragrance lasts at least around 3-4 hours if layered with the shower gel
• This body butter is quite moisturising for my skin which is only slightly dry at the moment.

Cons of The Body Shop Ginger Sparkle Body Butter

I cannot think of any cons but you will either like or hate this fragrance.

IMBB Rating 4.5/5

Will I repurchase this product?
