The body shop black liquid eyeliner

Ingredients:

Marula Oil – Is a very effective moisturiser that also helps to condition the skin over time. Also provides essential fatty acids that help to repair the skin’s moisture barrier, thus helping to restore moisture, smoothness and suppleness.

Vitamin E – Is an antioxidant that helps to soften, condition and protect the skin.

Instructions:

Apply along the upper or lower lash lines.

My Experience with the product:

I am a regular user of Kajal and Liquid Eyeliners and have never used eye pencils or gel eye liners. I feel it is easy to apply liquid eyeliners, maybe because I am used to.. Since my son’s birth, I could use only kajal and not eyeliners.. Now my son gives me some time to breathe.. πŸ™‚

During my college days, one of my friends used to draw very precise lines. I got really impressed and started to try very seriously. But I could not make it as beautiful as hers though she had cheap Eyeliner and I was using Lakme, a luxurious brand then. With more practice, I was able to draw like hers after many days. Another friend complimented me that Kajal and Eyeliners make my face bright.. So I started using them regularly. πŸ™‚

Well, I miss those friends.. Anyways, I have got many friends here in IMBB, Jomol, Sukanya, Shami, Aru, Janani, JW, Nupur, Sneha, Surabhi, Mrs.IMBB Rati and many others.. πŸ™‚

Okay, coming back to the product, when I went to Body shop to buy shampoos recently, these beauties attracted me a lot. Next to Lipsticks, Eyeliners pull me towards them undoubtedly.. πŸ™‚

The application is super easy and smooth. I am able to draw precise lines even when I am in a hurry.

Felt tip-brush is thin, soft and flexible but gives good control that helps to draw fine lines and other desired shapes.

I absolutely love its packaging, especially the sturdy handle which gives super grip to our hands. It has never smudged and stays intact for longer hours say for about 6-7 hrs. I’ve not worn it more than that.. πŸ™‚ One swipe is more than enough to draw thin lines.

But it makes my eyelids oily. When foundation and compact are used, I am quite escaped.. I need to buy an eye primer soon. {jog smiley}

PROS:

Easy application.
Excellent packaging especially its long and sturdy handle.
Felt tip-brush gives good control to draw lines.
Never smudged.
Stays for longer hours.
Water resistant.
Intense black color.

CONS:

Quite expensive. Everyone cannot afford.
Washable.. This may be a CON for some.. But I always choose non-waterproof eyeliners and mascaras just for the sake of easy removal.
Makes eyelids oily.. But this can be solved with eye-primer/foundation/concealer and loose powder/pressed powder.

My Rating: 4/5

Final Verdict:

I am very much happy with the product and I would repurchase this again but would like to try their brown shade too..
