The Body Shop Love Gloss Raspberry Review

The Body Shop Love Gloss – Raspberry Review

Hey Guys,

After using and falling in love with the TBS love gloss shade Blush Pink, I went ahead and purchased this lip gloss. This lip gloss is my mother’s favourite. I had bought this lip gloss for myself and my mother sneakily took it for herself. This TBS lip gloss is a pinkish red colour, which definitely suits the name Raspberry. The colour is quite cute. This lip gloss is matte and is translucent with a thick consistency. I have always been more into nude colours, but I really liked this colour, so I purchased it.

Price and Quantity:

Rupees 595/- for 7.5 ml.

My Experience with The Body Shop Love Gloss – Raspberry:

This colour is more of an evening colour. It is more pinkish than red. It looks a bit heavy on the lips, suits all skin shades. I found it a bit sticky which irritates me after a while. It does look slightly artificial if not used properly. It transfers easily. I have always feared it would stain my clothes. This colour is very bright and needs a good lip liner, otherwise it can bleed. It slightly stains your lips even after removal. It keeps the lips moisturised.

It also as other TBS lip glosses has a slightly synthetic fragrance with a slight synthetic taste. It also smells like a bucket full of raspberries, sometimes this strong fragrance can be very overpowering.

What I Like about The Body Shop Love Gloss – Raspberry:

1) Travel friendly.
2) Cute colour.
3) Easy to apply, glides very well.
4) Even though being a bright colour, it suits all skin shades.
5) Cute applicator.
6) Keeps the lips moisturised even after removal.
7) Lasts for good 3-4 hours (excluding eating).

What I Dislike about The Body Shop Love Gloss – Raspberry:

1) Stains your lips slightly.
2) Some might not like the sticky feeling.
3) Overpowering fragrance and funny taste.
4) No SPF.
5) Delicate packaging. The lid has a dent on it because I pressed it a little hardly, you can see the dent in the first image.

Conclusion:

It is quite bright, not favourable for daily use. I will not purchase this once again because there are more dupes of this colour, which are  better than this.
