I am writing this review after a really long time just got busy with my kiddo. This is written especially for those of you who are going to start shopping for their winter must-haves and this is a product that I feel everyone should try!!
This was suggested to me by ..any guesses?
Okay, it was my Mum who suggested this, she had read about the anti-ageing effects of mango butter on skin and hence she suggested this one. I was already using TBS’s Shea butter when she asked me to apply this one and I was just mesmerized by its feel and its wonderful smell (I super super like Mangoes!) Here is the review. It comes in a mango colored tub.
Hydration for very dry skin (With Mango seed from India).
Not for facial use.
An intensive, creamy all-over body moisturizer. It absorbs into the skin easily, helping to condition, soften and smooth the skin and prevent dryness.
- Leaves skin soft and smooth
- Buttery texture
- Exotic mango scent

My experience with The Body Shop Mango Butter:
I am stating this from the starting of the review that I am in love with the product.I have tried this in 2 cities Surat – which is supposed to have a lot of humidity and in Bhopal – which has a very dry weather.
And I must say it worked well in both the climates. The difference was just the quantity needed. In Surat it was a very little quantity needed and in Bhopal obviously more; but then as far as the product goes it is working fantastically I have no qualms about the quantity being used.
It is so moisturizing that at night if I wash my hands and feet, I actually do not feel the need to reapply it. But the point to be mentioned here is that I move out of the house only twice of which one is my evening walking and running.
I need to reapply it on my hands since they are exposed to water many times during the day Thanks to the kiddo! But immediately after reapplying they become buttery smooth!
It has helped to lighten my skin tone by just one tone and my Mum too agrees to it. So I guess this is an added benefit because they didn’t mention it anywhere!
I have used Cocoa butter and Shea butter from TBS but I guess this is by far the best one according to me. I have a normal to dry skin in winters.
Pros of The Body Shop Mango Butter:
1) Extremely hydrating and keeps your skin hydrated for long.
2) Wonderful smell.
3) Lightens the skin tone.
4) Light in texture.
Cons of The Body Shop Mango Butter:
1) Contains Parabens.
1 point deducted because I feel that products from TBS, should not contain parabens!
Have a super happening day!
