I have always admired rose fragrance. Don’t get me wrong, I do not like the fake strong smell of roses which makes one nauseated, I am talking about the smell of soft roses which makes our mood happy. This shower gel from The Body Shop is definitely from the second category which elates my mood whenever I use this for shower.
This soap-free shower gel contains real Moroccan rose oil and has a delicate floral scent:

My Experience with The Body Shop Moroccan Rose Shower Gel:
This is my first shower gel from The Body Shop and I love it to bits. When I take it on the loofah, my mood is elated from that very moment. The fragrance of roses which is not overpowering is the best thing I could ask for! I have been trying to find this combination since so long, but I never came across such a winning combination.
This body shower never made my skin dry. My skin is normal and I never feel the need to moisturize my skin after using this. This is perfect for monsoons and summers when I don’t want my skin to load with moisturizer.
I am not aware how well the other shower gels from The Body Shop perform, but I am sure that if you like roses even slightly, this is going to be your favourite. Only a small quantity is required each time.
This is a shower gel which makes my senses awake on a dull morning. I love the fragrance very much and enjoy my bath every time I use this shower gel. I would recommend using a loofah with this though. I use my bath gloves and this works perfectly with them. I have now become a fan of The Body Shop shower gels as they are cheaper than Lush and Forest Essentials. I am looking forward to try other versions of the shower gels too and for winters, I can’t wait to try a shower cream. Any recommendations are most welcome 🙂
Pros of The Body Shop Moroccan Rose Shower Gel:
- Soothing and refreshing fragrance.
- Only a small quantity is required each time.
- TBS claims that it does not test on animals.
- Cost effective.
- Does not dry the skin.
- Sturdy packaging.
- Easily available.
Cons of The Body Shop Moroccan Rose Shower Gel:
- I am not sure how well it will perform during winters.
I am a fan of this body shower gel because it has a smell of real roses, not the synthetic one which is very overpowering. This delivers what it claims and the claims are not sky high. Overall, I am happy with my purchase and I can confidently recommend this to all lovely ladies out there!
