My question is related to TBS products. Can you tell me your favorite TBS products and why would you buy a TBS product over others. Which company’s products will you choose as the closest alternative to TBS and how will you describe your experience with TBS so far.

Visakhi….I love TBS products. I first read about the existence of TBS products here on IMBB. My first The body shop product was Seaweed ionic clay mask. I got my first body butter through Rads and it was the Grapefruit body butter. My second one was strawberry body butter. I got the gloves then. I don’t think any other brand equals to TBS right now and I would continue buying body butters from the same brand and nowhere else. Grapefruit body butter is the best that i have used. :yes: :yes: :yes:

Extra Virgin Minerals™ Loose Powder Foundation is really good. It comes with a price tag of 15 GBP I use it regularly after application of my Kryolan Paint stick to set the overall look. I found the brand to be really good. I have also tried Vitamin E Intense Moisture Cream which I found to be amazing. I prefer this as the best in winter season.
i am hearing only good reviews on that… i thnk i should try tht..

Their seaweed mattifying lotion with spf 15 is good. Lip balms i didn’t like at all. the strawberry one and raspberry. The almond hand cream is quite good. The vitamin e illuminating cream is quite good too for dry/normal skin. The best thing i have tried from them is the tea tree face pack and tea tree oil for acne prone skin. 🙂
On another note, I used to like TBS once upon a time but then after some research, i found that they have as many chemicals as any other brands. Now there are so many pure brands to choose from like forest essentials, omved, the natures co etc, that i wouldn’t wanna buy stuff from TBS anymore. just my personal pref for comp herbal and safe products. 🙂

Don’t know if this is just my prejudice, but some how I feel with the passing of Anita Roddick, TBS is not like it used to be. It is now owned by l’oreal, and to me that itself is suspect. That said, I love many tbs products!

banana shampoo n conditioner- moisturises and adds volume
rainforest hair butter- deep conditioning and shine
nail block-quick fix to a manicure
almond hand cream-suits my dry hands

@Sukanya..u liked the hair butter??ive used it a couple of times but it’s only left my hair more frizzy and “puffy”..was pretty disappointed !!

1/Tbs body butter …great to use in winters.or u can even use it for body massage instead of oil..
2/.tbs tea tree face wash and3/ vitamin e moisture cream.these are 2 products i’ve been buying from tbs since many years now..
4/rainforest shampoo and conditioner mist..they are silicone,sulfate etc free ..
5/shower gels mostly olive and strawberry..
i keep trying many products from so many different brands so i don;t know if therz a closest alternative 😛

for the body care range yes…i prefer bath and body works but the whole range isnt available in India and its quite expensive 2…but for the skincare there are many good moisturisers out there but again they are more exp than the Tbs one..

TBS Hemp Hand Oil, Body butter sweet lemon, body lotion sweet lemon. Virgin’s minerals liquid foundation. I am soon picking up their lip balms.
Hemp range is on my list.. bt sadly that range r nt available online…, :idk:
I love the TBS loose powder and Body butters :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: . But had a disappointing experience with their sea weed night clarifying lotion. It just gave a stretchy feel and did absolutely nothing :yuck: :yuck:
ohh… i am using seawood clarifying toner, its a good one.. bt nt for summer…
best product-
1.cocoa body butter-good for my terribly dry skin
2.hemp foot protector-works wonders with socks on
3.almond hand and nail cream-loved the smell and softened my hand
4.rainforest shampoo-good bounce
5.aqua lily perfumes/white musk
worst
1.TBS lipsticks -terribly hard and not worth a penny
i thnk other than their foundations, their makeup range dont have any good rating :sidefrown:
hmm TBS ..bought very few because with so many chemicals in a herbal product i would rather buy a proper chemical one. well few things did click which were …
1) hand gloves used for body srcubbing …—love them they exfoliate like dream
2) tea tree toner ..which is good alternative for my oily/acne prone skin
3) mineral foundation(only in winter my face gets very oily after some time though)
i want that hand gloves… tht are nt available online… :struggle:
Body butters n lip balms… they were the only saviour in this cold weather here for my dry hands/feet n chapped lips.. :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
i have tried only a few prodcuts frm TBS, bt i thnk they have so much for dry skin .. and nt so mcuh for oilies like me.. bt i have dry body skin, so body butter suits me.. 🙂 Thank u Nids… 🙂
i loved the white musk and japanese cherry blossom perfumes! got so confused picking one, that ended buying both after an hour of mental debate. :toothygrin:

The moroccan rose perfume is also nice – floral without being cloying.

agree with Swati…white musk and JCB smell so divine!!
I love the seaweed toner. It reduced my oily skin to combination. That’s like almost 75 less oily 😀
I’m on my second bottle… and they increased the price 🙁
i am also using the same.. bt i use it only in moring.. Night i prefer using biotique cucumbr frsnhr…
Bt biotique also dont print the whole list of ingrdients which is really dissapointing.. :((
TBS- Ginger- Anti Dandruff Shampoo . I bought this after reading IMBB review.. It has removed my flakes instantly when i used it for the first time. Now, even If I don’t wash my hair even after 3 days, I get no flakes or sometimes very very less.. I have used all shampoos available, this is the best for me..
Brow Definer dark brown shade.. I have scanty hair on my brows.. This helps me a lot and I am completely satisfied.
Rainforest Conditioner.. It detangles, controls frizziness and gives shine to the hair but weighs it down.. :nonono:
Shower Gel – Pear and Lemongrass.. I love it.. :yahoo:
Yet to try their body butters for which TBS is famous for.. :stars:
Highly disappointing fact is complete ingredient list is not printed on the product :specs: and some of the products are over pricey; not much worthy as they are not completely herbal.. :nababana:

I am surprised no one mentioned the totally awesome strawberyyy body polish…its their yummiest product and i will keep buying it…apart from that tea tree face wash,Vit e illuminating moisturiser..and body butters – i have tried…cocoa,shea,strawberry,lychee,body butter duo…..although i do feel bath and body works butters are better…but since their non availabity TBS is an awesome replacement…and yeah the cocoa butter lip balm…stick wala…i thnk their mens pefume is awfullll…doesnt even last for half an hour…and yeah body washes….strawberry and raspberyy are my favs!!!! Ohhh my list will nvr end..their baked broze e/s is my favourestttt!!!! :pompom:
TBS has been one of my favourite products for a while now. I have used their
seaweed clay mask – the best prodict from TBS
Seaweed toner – used to use, stopped but am going to continue again
Blackheads scrub – used it for a while, stopped, going to get back to it
gloves – hardly use it but loved it when I did
lip butters – one of my favourite prodicts from TBS
body butters – love them too
the not so good were the eyecreams.
White musk is my favorite perfume :heart: ! I also love their make-up products like the shimmer cubes and the baked eye shadows!

i am using tbs papaya body butter for years now. :yahoo:.
i use it all day and even as a night cream.
it keeps my skin soft and supple. :thanks: tbs for that product.
i used vitamin E day cream and night creams as well. but i felt papaya body butter works better than them.

The Coconut body butter smells HEAVENLY 😀 Love etc is also a really nice perfume. Try the hand creams, they’re good. The shampoos are ok imo not thaaat great. Aqua Lily body mist feels really refreshing. The lip glosses are good too. The best ranges are – Coconut, Spiced Vanilla (limited edition Christmas), Satsuma, Love etc, Cocoa butter, the Spa range and the lip butters if you have very chapped lips.
Where can I by tbs products online ?? You mentioned above they are not available online. Please let me know! Summers have started. Have an extremely set skin.
