Hope you are all doing great. I took a long break from IMBB as a lot of unexpected events took place in my life! A month ago, I broke my ankle accidentally and following that, my laptop conked off! What should I say, life always surprises when you are least ready for it. Bad things happen but it always brings the utmost strength in you. I learnt how to take care of my toddler by sitting on a computer chair and running around the house after him without walking and I also tried to contribute to IMBB by using my cousin’s Macbook (believe me, this was tougher than managing my toddler). My Experience with The Body Shop Tea Tree Anti-Imperfection Night Mask:

This mask comes housed in a beautiful sturdy dark green glass jar with a black cap. The packaging is similar to their expert facial masks. I like the packaging, it looks very classy and chic. Product details and other information are printed on the jar itself.

The mask is dark green color and as a goopy, bouncy, jelly-like consistency and feels moist on the skin. This mask has a unique fragrance of tea tree oil similar to other products from the “Tea Tree” range. Tea tree is known for its acne-fighting properties and this imperfection mask works as a sleeping mask to fight acne and to make the skin clearer. It also helps in minimizing pores. Actually, I don’t have any active acne, but I picked up this mask to clear acne scars and also to improve the texture of my skin as tea tree is an excellent antiseptic.

Usually, I use this mask three times a week – in the night, after I cleanse my face – I apply a thin layer of this mask on my face and neck and then go to sleep, leaving the mask to work its magic on my skin. This mask stings a lot upon initial application, but as started using this mask frequently, the stinging sensation disappeared. This mask did feel sticky and tacky in the beginning, but after some time, the stickiness subdued and the mask didn’t even transfer to my pillows.

Now coming to the efficacy of the mask – it is phenomenal! It does what it says – soothes skin, clears imperfections, and even gets rid of whiteheads and blackheads. The mask effectively unclogs facial pores and also helps to lighten acne scars. It improves overall texture of the skin.

Whenever I get a pimple, I use this mask immediately and the pimple subsides in a single use, and boom, in two days, the pimple gets cleared out without a mark, which is just awesome. I am pretty sure that this product will work like magic for people with cystic acne and other types of acne and redness. This mask does not have alcohol or other nasty ingredients, so it is suitable even for sensitive skin types.

I love this mask – it has been almost a month since I started using this product and I cannot stop raving about it. The mask intensely hydrates your skin overnight and you wake up to well-moisturized and better looking skin each day. It cleared my skin and got rid of tiny bumps on my skin and clogged pores which made my skin look textured after putting on makeup, but ever since I started using this night mask, I see no bumps at all and makeup looks flawless. Overall, this is a HIT product and I will definitely suggest people with acne and other skin problems to give it a try.
