I bought this perfume along with the perfume oil from the same range (The Body Shop White Musk Smoky Rose Perfume Oil). I have used floral fragrances before, but this is the first time I have bought a rose-scented perfume. I always felt rose is a “cliché” scent and would be too overpowering or artificial, but the fragrance of this perfume is very mesmerizing and I love it!

My Experience with The Body Shop White Musk Smoky Rose Eau de Parfum:
The perfume comes in a beautiful pink-black bottle. The bottle holds 50 ml of the product which seems an appropriate amount for the money paid. The bottle has a perfume mister on top – the usual kind which comes with most perfume bottles – I have almost finished the product but the mister is still in a good shape. The bottle is sturdy, easy to store and carry and looks pretty sitting on my dresser.
The fragrance has, as the name suggests, strong undertones of rose and something smoky, like musk, but it doesn’t make it masculine. I really enjoy the aroma of this perfume. I apply it near my ears, my collar bones, my pulse points and sometimes even rub a little to my hair since hair holds the fragrance the longest. I love the fragrance and get compliments whenever I wear it.
The wear time of the perfume, on the other hand, is not as amazing as I had wished for. It will last an hour or so on its own, but I usually pair it with the perfume oil from the same range and that enhances the staying power to a few more hours, but again, not as long as I desire, and has to be reapplied. So, to enjoy those compliments, I have to reapply the product because no trace of it is left behind.
This product has consistency like your usual perfumes – it is colorless and leaves no stain behind on skin or on clothes. It doesn’t burn or irritate skin, so I guess the alcohol content is not too high and probably will not darken skin or ruin jewellery as most perfumes do. Another thing I like about this product is the short ingredients list, which I prefer in cosmetic products.
I enjoy the fragrance a lot, but it is highly unlikely that I will repurchase this product because of its low staying power. But it is a worth a try especially for its mesmerizing fragrance and you are bound to get compliments for it, as long as the fragrance lasts.

- The mister is robust and dispenses the product well.
Cons of The Body Shop White Musk Smoky Rose Eau de Parfum:
- The fragrance does not last for long, even when paired with the lotion and perfume oil from the same range.
