Bodycology Toasted Vanilla Sugar Foaming Body Wash Review

Taking bath is one of my favorite activities throughout the day *preen*, and I love to bring fun and variety to this favorite activity of mine. My shower is always stacked with an assortment of body wash gels as I really get bored if I use the same body wash every day.  So, I keep picking up different kinds of body wash gels from various brands. Bodycology Toasted Vanilla Sugar Foaming Body Wash is one of them. Here I am sharing my experience with it.

It comes in a slightly curvy plastic bottle with a flip cap. The packaging material is okay, justifiable for its price. The bottle is filled with brownish-yellow clear liquid wash.

My Experience with Bodycology Toasted Vanilla Sugar Foaming Body Wash:

I love body washes which provide either an instant relaxing or refreshing feeling, but this one did none for me. The scent is very sweet, just like you would expect from the name “toasted vanilla sugar.” It is a wintery scent. I haven’t tried anything from the same scent group, so I don’t really have anything to compare it to, but it is just not my type.

It produces a good amount of lather though and also provides a decent amount of moisturization. As suggested in directions to use, I tried using it for bubble bath. It produced an impressive amount of lather, which lasted for all through 30 minutes before I drained it out. The bubbles probably would sustain nicely even for longer times. But bubble bath would require a good amount of body wash. For filling a small size bath tub one time, I used 1/4th of the contents of the bottle.

Texture wise, it is very runny, so I end up using a lot of it. But for the price, I don’t mind finishing up the bottle a bit sooner.

Pros of Bodycology Toasted Vanilla Sugar Foaming Body Wash:

  • Sweet toasted vanilla sugar scent.
  • Is not overly drying.
  • Produces a good amount of lather, suitable for bubble bath too.
  • Contains honey and aloe vera for providing moisture.
  • The scent is very subtle.
  • Not tested on animals.
  • Very reasonably priced.

Cons of Bodycology Toasted Vanilla Sugar Foaming Body Wash:

  • Very runny in consistency.
  • Availability in India is a problem.
  • The scent is not noticeable after wash, so might be a problem if you like the scent.
  • Though it is not a travel size bottle, and I have never traveled with it, I feel that its cap will not secure tight enough for travel.

IMBB Rating:

3.5/5

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Bodycology Toasted Vanilla Sugar Foaming Body Wash?

If you like sweet scents like vanilla sugar, you most certainly will like it. I don’t like such scents, so I won’t repurchase it. I would rather finish this bottle using it for bubble bath, where it does a good job, but it is nothing extraordinary.
