Not always it happens that we come across a product and stick with it forever. Cosmetics is such a fast paced industry, and as the options are increasing everywhere, it is very likely that we move on to others, thereby forgetting the old ones. The product I’m reviewing today is one such product, which has stayed with me for over two years. I have finished using one bottle and, I don’t intend to remove it from my vanity in the near future. Today’s review is all about Bodyography Veil Foundation Primer in the shade Neutral. Let me justify my extreme liking for the product in the review ahead.

I was in quest of a good primer, which would conceal my ugly pores and rough nose. I tried primers from MAC, Inglot, Benefit, Colorbar and what not! But, nothing gave me results, which I wanted. I was at beauty centre in Bandra, Mumbai one day (this was my regular relaxation place after a hard day at work) and, I happened to try Bodyography Veil Primer in the shades green, clear and neutral. I instantly liked the shade “neutral” but, it was out of stock. I revisited that place many times but kept going back empty handed for about 2 months. At last, they had it in stock and, I picked up my life saver product.

Other than using it as a primer, the product can be used by itself alone. It smoothens and brightens the face in one go. This primer is as good as a BB cream. I feel it’s unfair to call it just a primer because it does much more to the skin. It comes with a pump, so it’s always easy to get the product as much as I need without spoiling my hands or dipping my fingers into the bottle.

Two pumps are enough for the entire face. It’s a pleasure to touch this primer as it makes my hands and face super smooth. It provides a velvety matte finish to my skin. A little compact powder on the face will add on to the coverage. It is my stand-alone office wear product. Well for occasions, I put my foundation over it, and my makeup stays intact for over 8 hours.

I tried to go back to one of my other primers to save this one for special occasions, but nothing worked. The best part about this primer is, it has a noticeable tint of its own so, you tend to use less foundation over it. They have recently changed the packaging of the product for better. Now, losing the cap is no more a worry.

My mother is not a makeup lover and, she has never applied even a tinted lip balm in her life, she also loves this product, and keeps asking me from where she can buy it as she is also about to finish her first bottle.
