Eye-makeup gone wrong

Who doesn’t like the ultimate combination of parties and glitters! So today, I am going to share this beautiful bold party makeup with you all. I have recently purchased some eye glitter and this is one of the unique looks I created with it. The look is bold but very easy to create and would look great on all skin tones. So now, let’s get started with the tutorial.

Face

I kept my face makeup normal and fresh as I wanted my eyes to get all the attention. First, I applied my face primer and then my foundation. I blended the products well with a buffing brush. Next, I concealed the undereye area and hid my spots with my concealer. After that, I used a bronzer to contour my cheeks, nose and jawline areas. Next, I used a nice brown pink blush on my cheeks and also applied some golden beige highlighter on the highest parts of my face. Since I used a lot of powder products, I spritz on some face mist and then dabbed it to make my makeup last.

Step 1:
I applied a dark blue eyeshadow on my crease and lids to define them well. I blended this shadow smoothly using a round blending brush.

Step 2:
Next, I applied a purple eyeshadow on my crease area and on the corners of my eyes. I blended smoothly until I got a smooth smokey look.

Step 3:
Next, I used the same dark blue shadow and applied it on the outer corners. This way, I made them more defined and bold. Again, I blended all the colors with a nice blending brush.

Step 4:
I applied some glitter primer on the middle part of my eyelid and then used this chunky multicolored glitter. I just dabbed the glitter over primed area with a flat eyeshadow brush. Then, I cleaned the fallout with a tape.

Step 5:
After this, I applied the same blue eyeshadow on my lower lash line and blended all the colors with a blending brush. For this look, I skipped my eyeliner and kajal. I just used a nude eyeliner on my waterline to make my eyes appear bigger.

Step 6:
Finally, I finished my eye makeup by filling in my eyebrows and highlighting my brow bone. Next, I curled my lashes and applied mascara. For this look, I applied a lot of coats to make my lashes look bigger and fuller.

Since my eye makeup look was bold and I wanted the focus to be on my eyes, I wanted my lips to look natural or subtle. So, I decided to go with this peachy brown nude lipstick.

So, here is my final look. I paired it with a black embellished top and curly hair. Hope you liked this look. 🙂

  1. Wow Chayanti!! This glittery eye makeup is sure to garner a lot of compliments. It looks amazing. Sadly I have very sensitive eyes and am scared to get loose glitter anywhere near them.

    1. Thank you so much Sohel. I too had sensitive eyes so I used them very carefully.. but it doesn’t create any problem.. ??

  2. Love how sparkly and wearable this look is! <3 I am gonna get more glitter from Kryolan now. They are so good. 🙂

  3. Wow Chayanti. Beautiful look. I especially love your eye-makeup. It’s mesmerizing and love those chunky glitter. 🙂 Btw, how long does these glitter stay on eyes and do they spread a lot? I know it’s all about the primer but still would like to know your experience 🙂

    1. Thanks a lot Madhur.. it stays around 4-5hr but you need to apply properly with the Glitter primer. Actually I have a habit to touch my eyes so it falls sometimes..But otherwise doesn’t create that problem. These particular glitters are super chunky so it falls little.. I will do a full review soon. ??
