Bollywood’s Dreamlike Proposals and Love Stories

Our stars live a lavish life full of drama, everything is an exaggeration in their lives and you can imagine the sparkles when they fall in love, when they propose, when they decide to get married and everything surrounding it.

So here I am, compiling a list of few of the Bollywood’s celebs whose love story is like out of a fairytale and wedding, a Dream!

Imran and Avantika

Imran was barely 19 years of age when he realized that Avantika was the girl for him. He was very much in love with her, one fine day he snuck into her house and decorated her entire room with candles and bent down on his knees and professed his love for her. The lucky girl readily agreed. Well who wouldn’t. ;-). After being in relationship for almost a decade, they got married in 2002.

Akshay and Twinkle

They first met on the shoot of a magazine and Akshay developed a crush on Twinkle. He was considered a ladies’ man in the 90’s. Akshay started wooing her and one day he popped the question. But to his surprise she didn’t say yes instead put a condition. If her upcoming movie Mela would become a hit, she wouldn’t like to settle down so early in her career. But destiny had other plans. Her movie bombed at box office and they got hitched. Happy dance for Akki.

Dia and Sahil

Sahil met Dia for the narration of a movie script, although the movie didn’t work out, a beautiful love story did start to flourish. In their courtship period Dia was waiting for him to propose but he took his own sweet time. He really swept Dia off her feet when he got down on his knees in front of hundreds of onlookers on the Brooklyn Bridge in NY. They all clapped and cheered for the happy couple. Now that is what I call romantic. 🙂 Dia and Sahil got married this year in a lavish wedding ceremony this year.

Ayushmaan and Tahira

They were childhood sweethearts who used to go tuitions together. Tahira had a crush on him. They gradually became friends and dated each other for 12 years, when Ayushmaan realized he was in love with her and wanted to spend his life with her, he simply called her at 1.48 AM and professed his love for her and she could not refuse. They have been happily married since.

Arbaaz and Malaika

They met on the sets of a controversial ad shoot way back in ’93. It was love at first sight for them. There was no formal proposal. They dated for five long years and then got married in 2 different ceremonies, Muslim nikaah and a Christian wedding.

Soha and Kunal

They met on a movie set. They didn’t click at that time. Slowly and steadily they got to know each other and started to enjoy each other’s company. They dated for a long time. Kunal and Soha were on a month long holiday in Europe when he decided to propose Soha in the most romantic city in the world, Paris. He professed his love with the most perfect ring and Soha couldn’t be more happier.
