After a mini break I am back with another pretty stuff from Boots. I have a tendency to pick up random stuff for makeup and beauty and this purchase was one such random pick. We all know the benefits of flat beer and egg on hair. When I saw them come together I had to pick it up. It says “weightless” hair which gave me the feel that this is going to add volume to the hair.
With natural extracts of beer and egg. Boots ingredients intensive hair treatment is specially formulated to give fullness and body to your hair while leaving it volumised, more manageable and deeply moisturized.
Directions for use:
Smooth intensive hair treatment through hair after shampooing. For best results leave for 5 minutes and rinse thoroughly.
The mask comes in a plastic tub packaging. The body is transparent plastic and the lid is solid color of the mask that is inside, which is yellow in this case. There are two stickers on the body, one with the name and the picture and the other with the directions, ingredients etc.
Price: Rs. 250/-(approx) for 400ml
My experience with Boots Beer and Egg Intensive Hair Treatment:
I keep on trying new products on my hair which has good, not-so-good and bad effects on my hair. But the drugstores abroad are so tempting and they have such awesome offers that it is hard to resist. I picked up quite a few stuff from Boots and this is one of them.
The mask is a thick cream which is light yellow in color. It is not at all runny and you can control the amount of product. The smell is strong but not bothersome. I believe I am getting used to the smell. You need a spoonful of the product to show results.
I use this mask once or twice a week after shampooing and leave on for 5-10 mins and then wash off thoroughly. Normal air dry my hair and I am left with voluminous hair. I have frizzy hair and I always look for products that tame them. But this is something that gives me weightless and voluminous hair.
Pros of Boots Beer and Egg Intensive Hair Treatment:
• Nice smell.
• Does its job.
• No tangles.
• Easy on pocket.
Cons of Boots Beer and Egg Intensive Hair Treatment:
• Contains paraben.
• Bulky packaging.
Will I repurchase/recommend Boots Beer and Egg Intensive Hair Treatment?
Repurchase: no, because it did not suit me.
Recommend: yes, if you have thin limp hair and you want a boost of volume.
This mask did not suit me but it works awesome for my sister, so I have given the high rating as I was wrong in selection, it does its job perfectly.
