Boots Botanics Instant Moisture Mist Review

Skin type: Oily, sensitive and acne prone

Hii everyone!

Hope all of you are doing well. Today’s review is about a new body care invention. It’s a body mist, not a face mist, contrary to what I thought when I bought it. I love the Boots Botanics range and have already used a number of their products. So, I was intrigued when I spotted this body mist. I popped it in my basket without a second thought and made my purchase. Read on to know how it fared.

Price: £2.14 for 150 ml
Product Description:
This moisture mist is quick and easy to use. The lightweight formulation absorbs in seconds and moisturisers for 24 hours leaving your skin feeling soft and smooth all day. Active plant extract, hibiscus, contains natural AHAs which mildly exfoliate to leave the skin smoother and brighter. Dermatologically tested.

How to Use:
Shake the can, hold 4 inches (10cm) away and apply a light mist all over the body. Quickly rub in and go. Do not spray directly on to the face and avoid spraying into the eyes.

My Experience with Boots Botanics Instant Moisture Mist:

When I bought ‘Instant Moisture Mist’ I actually thought it’s a face mist, but it’s actually a body moisturiser in spray form. It works so well, so I wasn’t disappointed and have actually been reaching for this a lot these days.

It’s quite similar to the Vaseline Intensive Care Spray Moisturiser as far as the functionality is concerned. Plus, this one smells divine. It gives your skin a beautiful sheen, so I love using it all over my body after my morning shower. It’s not extremely hydrating, but definitely does its job well in summers.

It’s really good and seeps into the skin almost instantly with no greasy residue left behind. It’s essentially a fast-absorbing body lotion in a spray form. It is easy to carry around and use, too. It sprays out a runny, thin, water-like cream consistency, which sinks into the skin very quickly when blended.

It has a mild hibiscus fragrance which smells fantastic. Overall, it’s an amazing product for summers. It gives a cooling sensation upon application and hydrates the skin well but I don’t think it will be moisturising enough during winters.

Pros of Boots Botanics Instant Moisture Mist:

• Continuous spray bottle for quick application.
• Easy to work with.
• Gets instantly absorbed.
• Has a nice consistency – not very thick or greasy.
• Moisturizes the skin well.
• Pleasant, mild fragrance.
• Affordable.
Dermatologically tested.

Cons of Boots Botanics Instant Moisture Mist:

• Bulky bottle.
• May not be suitable in winter.
• Not available easily.
