So, after trying Boots Extracts Strawberry Body Butter, and being happy with the product, here is the next one from the same range – Boots Extracts Fruity Strawberry Body Wash. If you love the fragrance of the fruit, you will definitely love this body wash. It smells delicious and it’s perfect to start a fruity day.
This shower gel is in light baby pink tube with a dark pink flip cap (same as its body butter). The body wash is in pale pink colour which has an extremely light texture. However, with just a small quantity, it gives a rich creamy and foamy lather. It is very fruity but good part is this smells really fresh and tangy and not like other strawberry perfumed products which are at times too strong, sweet and resonant. I am not a big fan of strawberry and so I picked the mini version of it.
As everyone would guess, the basic ingredient obviously remains strawberry. But since it is from Fairtrade, the surprise ingredient with which the product is developed to make a difference is honey. Honey! This is quite smartly used in the body wash as it helps to bind the moisture in the skin. So, it certainly cleanses but it also does a good job moisturising the skin excessively.

How to Use:
Massage a generous amount of Strawberry body wash onto damp skin and work into a lather, rinse well after use and gently towel dry. For optimum results, follow with Boots Extracts Strawberry body butter.

My Experience with Boots Extracts Fruity Strawberry Body Wash:
So sweet! So lovely! So pleasant! The body wash is simply delicious. It is certainly neither mild nor strong; perfect to awaken the tired wires of your body every morning. As it creates enough lather, you just need a small coin size for one wash. Honestly, the smell, look and feel of the product remind me of those Boom-Boom-Boomer days! Why? It has a very strong smell. Yet, the fragrance reduces on washing away the body wash, but dawdling on the skin for more than an hour after bath.
The body wash does a fabulous job of properly cleansing the skin. The fragrance along with cleaning the skin leaves the skin quite renewed, revived and rejuvenated. The surprise element, honey, helps keep the skin well hydrated, velvety and supple as it has the ability to absorb and retain moisture. Thankfully, the strawberry scent doesn’t smell artificial at all.
I have used couple of other sickly strawberry scented products where in the scent is strong and overpowering which definitely doesn’t go well with me. I do LOVE fruity products but not SO deep which actually disturbs the senses. Overall, a wonderful products for all strawberry lovers and other half of ‘OH-NOT-SO’ strawberry lovers should try this as it is beautiful, fresh and lovely!
