Boots Natural Collection Loose Powder – Neutral Translucent Review

Skin type: Extremely sensitive, dry and oily t-zone

Hello all,
Though almost all products from Natural Collection are very affordable, but I find their packaging quite repelling. In my opinion, Natural Collection loose powder is the most good looking product from this brand. Let’s find out from the review if it’s a yay or nay product!

My Experience with Boots Natural Collection Loose Powder – Neutral Translucent:

Packaging: Like I said, packaging is better than the other Natural Collection products. It’s simple but not repelling. The Natural Collection loose powder comes in a round plastic tub with white lid and transparent body. The transparent body helps me to see how much of the product is left as I am not able to open the plastic lid inside the tub.

I am afraid if I apply too much force, then I might spill lots of powder. The plastic lid has small holes in it but sufficient powder comes out every time you shake it little bit. Though there is no puff provided, you can keep your own puff inside while travelling. Using brush while traveling can be bit messy, so puff is a better option in that situation. If you’re travelling with this product, then remember to open it carefully or you might end up wasting the product.

The powder comes in three shades – cool translucent, neutral translucent and warm translucent. There was no tester available in the store so I picked up “neutral translucent” by its name. This is my first loose powder.

Why I bought this product?

1) To set my makeup
2) To get satin Matte look
3) To control oil in the T-zone

I use this loose powder either after applying my foundation or at the end of my full face makeup. I swirl my brush on the loose powder and it picks up lots of powder in one go. I tap to brush off the excess and then apply the powder lightly. It does give satin matte finish. As of now, my foundation brush is working just fine but I might buy a separate brush to apply loose powder in future. Girls, can you please suggest me any brush for this purpose?

The neutral translucent loose powder doesn’t provide any coverage which is great for me as I didn’t want any coverage. You may try other shades if you want some coverage too. The loose powder looks natural and not made up on face. The loose powder is smooth and finely milled. It is so lightweight that you will not feel anything on your face.

I do not apply makeup while going for grocery shopping but if my skin looks extremely dull, then I apply little loose powder for instant fresh and natural look. The staying power of this product is also commendable. It can stay all day long if you’re in moderate temperature environment but might melt down if you stay too long outside under the sun. So it depends on the weather and temperature you’re in but I am sure it will not disappoint you. Honestly, I was not expecting anything from this brand but the outcome is surprisingly superb.

Pros of Boots Natural Collection Loose Powder – Neutral Translucent:

• Great quality at an affordable price
• Lightweight
• Easy to blend
• No fragrance
• Doesn’t look made up
• Controls oil
• Good staying power
• Natural matte finish
• Suitable for sensitive skin

Cons of Boots Natural Collection Loose Powder – Neutral Translucent:

• Availability in India
I am not counting packaging here because if they improve their packaging then they will also have to increase the price. Quality of this product is extremely good and that’s enough for me.

IMBB Rating: 4.25/5

Would I Recommend/Repurchase Natural Collection Loose Powder – Neutral Translucent?
I highly recommend this product to all. You’ll never regret. I will repurchase this for myself as well as for others if I get an opportunity because except Lakme, most loose powders are quite expensive in India.
